Plant form of tile grass
Perennial herb, reclining, about 50 cm high. The root is conical and fleshy. The stem is hollow, with enlarged nodes, pubescent and capitate glandular hairs. The leaves are small, sessile, oval or elliptical-ovate, 4 to 5 cm long, 2 to 3 cm wide, with a sharp apex, a wedge-shaped base, and wavy edges, with breasts and pubescence on both sides, and two lobes. Cymes, terminal; calyx tube green, densely covered with glandular hairs, apex 5-lobed; petals 5, light red, spatulate-lanceolate, throat with secondary corolla, scales 2 deeply lobed; stamens 10, filaments exposed, Anthers are white, T-shaped; ovary is superior, styles are 3, divided. Capsule conical, 1-celled. Seeds kidney-shaped, brown.
Born in mountain wilderness and limestone areas. Distributed in Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou and other places.
