Cordyceps produced in Yushu, Qinghai is not much different from that produced in Naqu, Tibet. Both of them are superior quality cordyceps, and their medicinal value is equivalent.
2. It is produced in Hunan and other places
In Hunan and Jiangxi, there is Cordyceps inferior, which was discovered in recent years. Its grass grows from the middle of the insect head, but it doesn't cover the whole head. The top is round, the four pairs of feet in the abdomen are not obvious, and there are fewer horizontal stripes. The color of the insect body is white and yellow. The white one is easy to identify, and the yellow one is difficult to identify.

Cordyceps produced in Liangshan, Sichuan is called Liangshan Cordyceps. Its surface is brown and black with many horizontal stripes. The grass body can be as long as 3 cm, and its head is cylindrical or rod-shaped, which is not obvious to the feet. Cordyceps is slender and easy to break.
4. Artificial cultivation
There are two kinds of artificial cultivation, one is artificially cultivated with pupae, also known as Cordyceps militaris, also known as Cordyceps militaris; The other is artificially cultivated by fermenting cereal wheat. The color of artificially cultivated Cordyceps sinensis is orange, the top of the grass body is blunt and round, and the whole branch of Cordyceps sinensis has a slender handle. Cordyceps militaris cultivated with moth larvae has an oval pupa. This industrially produced Cordyceps militaris is mostly used in medicinal diet.
