How to Make Beef Dumplings with Shiitake Mushrooms
Chop the beef (I used cooked beef here), mushrooms, scallions, and garlic scapes
Pour oil into a pot
Pour the beef, mushrooms, and other ingredients into the pot, and add soy sauce, salt, and chicken broth. Add soy sauce, salt, chicken broth, and chili powder, and stir-fry for one to two minutes to make the filling
Pour flour into the pot, make a hole in the center, and pour in warm water
Put chopsticks into the dough wadding
Soften into dough
Put down the dosage
Put the rod into a round skin
Put the filling into the center of the dumpling skin
Built dumplings
Add water to the pot and bring to a boil
Pour the dumplings into the water, be careful not to overdo it, they will stick easily. (Or put some salt in the pot to prevent sticking.) Stir the hot water so that the dumplings move around and don't stick to the bottom of the pot. Cover the pot with a lid and wait for the dumplings to float up. Note: If the dumplings don't float when the water boils, add more cold water until the dumplings float up
Prepare the dumplings on a plate
Tips
Dumplings are not only good when you mix the stuffing, but also when you make the dumpling skin! Don't buy the kind of machine-pressed dough, it's better to make your own dough, add a little salt in the water, the dumplings won't stick together, and the texture is still very strong. Try it is as simple as that!
