Manzhou is a tribal name rather than a place name, referring to the Manchu people. Because of the red tassel as the traditional hat decoration, so the red tassel Manchurian name, is one of China's ethnic minorities, for China's fourth largest ethnic group, after the Zhuang and Hui the third largest ethnic minority. The Manchus are mainly found in the northeast of China and live mainly in the diaspora, with the largest population living in Liaoning.
