Xue Yue, Commander of the Ninth War Area of the Chinese Army, Luo Zhuoying, Yang Sen and Wang Lingji, Deputy Commanding Officers, and Wu Yizhi, Chief of Staff, commanded the following forces: (1) The Nineteenth Army Group, under the command of Acting Commander-in-Chief Liu Eung-ku, was the Third Newly Organized Army, under the command of Yang Hongguang, and had two divisions: the 183rd Division, under the command of Li Wenbin, and the Twelfth Newly Organized Division, under the command of Wang Guanglun, and the Second Advancement Column, under the command of Kang Jinglian. The 58th Army was still under the command of the 27th Army in northern Hunan. (2) The 30th Group Army under the command of Wang Lingji and Chief of Staff Song Xiangcheng: the 72nd Army under the command of Han Quanpu and two divisions; the 78th Army under the command of Xia Shouxun and two divisions. (3) Xiang-E-Gan Border Region Advance Army General Commander Wang Jinxiu, commanding the provisional 54th Division Kong Huo-peng and four or five advance columns. (4) Yang Sen, Commander-in-Chief of the 27th Army Group, and Yang Jianli, Chief of Staff, commanded: Yang Hanwei of the 20th Army, with two divisions: Yang Gancai of the 134th Division, and Xia Jiong of the 133rd Division; Sun Du of the 58th Army, with two divisions: Lu Daoyuan of the 10th Division, and Liang Dekui of the 11th Division; Pei of the 37th Army, with three divisions: Luo Qi, Li Tang of the 140th Division, and Dong Yu of the 60th Division; Wang Jianbo's Advancing Column, Nie Haoxian's Advancing Column, and Wang Zuiji's Advancing Column. Wang Jianbo Advancement Column, Nie Jiansan Advancement Column, and Wang Zuo-ji Advancement Column. Except for the Twentieth Army, the rest of the above armies were nominally under the command of the Twenty-seventh Army, but in practice they were under the direct command of Xue Yue. (5) the war zone jurisdiction army seems to be three: the fourth army ou zhen, three divisions: fifty-ninth division zhang deng, ninety division chen kan, the 102nd division bo hui zhang; the tenth army li yutang, three divisions: the third division zhou qingxiang, the reserve 10th division fang xianjue, the 190th division zhu yue; the other army can not be remembered (or is the seventy-third army peng yuren). (6) Division under the jurisdiction of the war zone: Guo Ruge, the provisional fifth division, an independent division, was in the Sixth War Zone before the war, was transferred to the Ninth War Zone at the beginning of the war, and was incorporated into the Seventy-third Army after the war.
