The first International Pumpkin Festival of Shanghai Miracle Garden was jointly organized by Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Nearly 100 varieties and nearly 10,000 pumpkins were selected for decoration, which took nearly one month, showing the pumpkin theme park with autumn characteristics. At the same time, many pumpkin popular science and pumpkin DIY activities were held, and giant pumpkins from space breeding were exhibited. The whole 1 1 month, Miracle Garden was the world of pumpkins and flowers.
Park VR perspective
After entering the park, the main road on the right side of the castle can be seen everywhere decorated with pumpkin festival atmosphere, which is both eye-catching and full of festive atmosphere. Follow the painting route of pumpkins and arrows and lead all the way to the pumpkin garden. At the entrance of the pumpkin garden, there is a huge arch with strange pumpkin shapes, decorated with different varieties and shapes of pumpkins, which are dazzling and interesting.
Looking up at the seed castle, you can see that it is full of round and thick edible pumpkins. From seed to fruit, it grows slowly, then matures and finally picks. Everything starts with a seed, and the joy of harvesting is as simple as that. The pumpkin cabin next to the circular lawn is decorated with pumpkins of different shapes on the wall, as well as fish-shaped sculptures made of pumpkins, and the branches are covered with pumpkin decorations. Walking here is like walking into a pumpkin farm. There will be interactive photo spots of pumpkins in Miracle Carpet, Elf Tree Theater, Jinghu Square and near Gate 4.
Special popular science activities
As the first international pumpkin festival in Shanghai Miracle Garden, we launched various pumpkin-related theme activities to lead children to explore the pumpkin kingdom in an entertaining way and start a novel and interesting adventure. At the same time, Dr. Ma Kun, a senior agronomist, a special vegetable expert from Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences, was specially invited to hold a parent-child popular science activity to tell the children the story of pumpkin growth, introduce the classification of pumpkin groups, and provide pumpkin silhouette for the children to sit in the right place.
