Homemade Plum Hot Dog Buns
Foreword

I used smoked hot dog sausages, black pepper flavor, that I bought at Sam's Club. After grilling them last night, LG said he was hungry and ate one, telling me that this sausage was especially good after grilling. So I ate a piece of the bun most of last night too but it was really superbly delicious! The hot dog sausage was so flavorful and delicious with the somewhat savory scallions. And this bread was extra fluffy, so loved it. I'm definitely going to make this again next time, it was so good for breakfast!

Materials

Main ingredient: 20g of golden image flour, 120g of milk, 250g of golden image flour, 25g of egg;

Supplementary ingredients: smoked hot dog sausage, 4g of dry yeast, 30g of sugar, 3g of salt, 30g of butter, green onions, moderate amount of

Plum hot dog bread

1

Green onion with a little whole egg wash, salt Mix well and set aside.

2

Soup seed dough making: flour + milk, stir on low heat until paste and set aside to cool. Add butter, softened at room temperature, and beat until extended. Roll out the dough, put it into a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and put it in a warm and humid place for basic fermentation. When the dough is 2.5 times its size, it will shrink back a little when you poke your finger into it.

3

Dividing the dough into 60g portions, roll out the dough and cover with plastic wrap for 15 minutes.

4

Remove the hotdog sausages and place them on kitchen paper towels to absorb the water.

5

Roll the dough into an oval shape as long as the hot dog sausage.

6

Pull the corners of the dough together again to form a rectangle and place a sausage.

7

Pinch the top and bottom together.

8

Use a sharp knife to make 4 cuts in the dough, making sure that the sausage is cut off, but the top of the dough is not cut off. (I have the dough in the wrong direction in the picture, it should be cut from the end that is not the closure, if like me. The bread will fall apart after shaping and fermenting.)

9

Place the dough one piece at a time along the cut, with the last piece over the first. Shape the dough and let it rise for a second time. When it has doubled in size, brush the top with egg wash and decorate with the scallion filling. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius, middle level, top and bottom heat, about 15 minutes.

Tips

1. I made a mistake in making the cuts, I shouldn't have cut from the closed side of the dough, I should have cut from the unclosed side. So the whole 4 bread, baked all fall apart. I had to take a bite of the bread and then pick up the sausage and eat it 。。。。

2. The order in which I placed the petals was wrong. The last petal should be pressed on top of the first. I didn't realize it until I was down to the last 2, stupid enough. Next time you do it, make sure you take a picture of the stacked petals.
