Ancient poems describing the Tanabata Festival: "A Long Way to the Bull's Star", "Magpie Bridge Immortal - Fiber Clouds Playing with Coquettishness", "Begging for Coquettishness", "Tanabata", "Bodhisattvas Barbarian - Tanabata", and so on.
1, "A Long Way to the Altair Star"
Original text:
A long way to the Altair Star, brightly shining the river girl.
The hand of a slender man, the loom of a beautiful woman.
All day long, no chapter, sobbing and sniffling like rain.
The river is clear and shallow.
The river is clear and shallow, how far away is it from each other?
The water is full of water, and I can't say anything about it.
Translation:
The distant and bright star Altair, the bright and distant star Vega.
The Weaving Maiden is swinging her soft, long, white hands, and her loom is chattering incessantly.
Because of her longing for love, she could not weave any pattern all day long, and her tears fell like rain.
The two worlds are only separated by a clear and shallow Milky Way, and the two worlds are not that far apart.
Separated on both sides of the shallow and clear Milky Way, the love of each other look at each other speechless gaze.
2, Magpie Bridge Immortal - Flying Stars
Originally:
Flying Stars, Flying Stars, Flying Stars, Flying Stars, Flying Stars, Flying Stars, Flying Stars, Flying Stars, Flying Stars. The first time we met, we were better than the rest of the world.
Love is like water, good times are like dreams, and I can't bear to look at the magpie bridge and return to the road. If two lovers are in love for a long time, how can it be in the morning and the evening?
Translation:
The thin clouds are changing in the sky, the shooting stars in the sky convey the sorrow of lovesickness, the distant and boundless Milky Way I quietly cross tonight. In the autumn wind and white dew on the eve of the meeting, it is better than the earthly world of those long time together but looks like a couple.
Lovely tenderness like flowing water, reunion date like a dream shadow like misty illusion, respectively, can not bear to look at the magpie bridge road. The first thing you need to do is to get a good deal of money to pay for the services you need.
3, "Begging for a coincidence"
Originally:
The night of the seventh moon is the night of the blue sky, the ox and the weaving maiden cross the river bridge.
Every family begs for the moon in autumn, and wears out tens of thousands of red threads.
Translation:
On the night of the seventh day of the seventh month, when I look at the blue sky, it seems that I can see the cowherd and the weaving maiden, who are separated by the "river of the sky", meeting each other on the bridge of magpies.
Households are watching the autumn moon while begging for money (threading needles to the moon), and tens of thousands of red threads have been threaded through them.
4, "Tanabata"
Originally:
The faint moon in the smoky sky is tantalizingly long in the sky, and the autumn period of the Silver Han is the same as that of ten thousand years.
A few joys and parting hates, year after year in this night.
Translation:
Thin clouds shroud the bright moon, and this has been the case for thousands of years at the Magpie Bridge.
How many joys of two lovers and the resentment of separation have occurred on this night year after year.
5, "Bodhisattva Barbarian"
Original text:
The wind returns to the fairy harnessing the clouds to open the fan, and at the end of the night, the moon falls on the stars and the river turns. The dreaming soul on the pillow is startled, and the rain is sparse on the eaves.
While we meet each other, it's hard to grow old in the long **** days. I'm not envious of the world, the world is like a year.
Translation:
The night is about to pass and the sun is about to appear. At the fifth night the Milky Way turns diagonally and the moon sets on the earth. The Cowherd and the Weaving Maiden woke up from their dreamy souls with tears and snot, and tiny raindrops fell from the sky.
The Cowherd and the Weaving Maiden, though meeting briefly, existed forever with the sky. They never envied the life on earth, because there were too many troubles and sad days on earth.
