Soybean, also called vegetable soybean, is called branch soybean in Japan. It is a vegetable soybean specially for fresh pods in soybean crops, that is, immature and turquoise edible soybean (also called soybean).
Soybean is an annual crop with thick, hard and capillary stems. Its pods are flat and have fine hairs on them, so people call it soybean. There are usually two or three beans in a pod. When fresh, the pods are tender green.
Soybean originated in China and has been planted for 5000 years. At present, it is widely planted in the whole country, produced in Northeast China, North China, Shaanxi, Sichuan and the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. It is cultivated in the Yangtze River Basin and Southwest China, and the quality of soybeans in Northeast China is the best.
Soybean is a leguminous plant, and its seeds are rich in protein, generally referring to its seeds. Soybeans are oval and spherical. The seed coat is yellow, light green and black, which is called soybean, mung bean (different from mung bean kernel or pea) and black bean, with soybean being the most common.
