1. Like the biological characteristics of warm and humid climate. Born in hills, dry slopes, ridges, roadsides and wet wasteland, it has strong adaptability. The requirements for soil are not strict, and it is suitable for cultivation in fertile humus loam.

2. Cultivation techniques use seeds or split roots to propagate. Seed propagation: the seeds are harvested from April to May when the fruits are ripe, and sown with the harvest or stored in layers until the next spring sowing. The row spacing of drilling holes is 30cm, and the covering soil is thin. Root-splitting propagation: in spring, the dug smaller rhizomes are planted as seeds in holes with a row spacing of 30cm×30cm.

3. The root system of Ranunculus ternatus is shallow in field management, so weeds should be pulled instead of weeding, the soil should be kept moist frequently, water should be paid attention to during the growth period, and topdressing should be done twice at the seedling stage.

Character; Role; letter

1. Character identification: The tuberous root is spindle-shaped, with 5-6 clusters, resembling a cat's paw, with a length of 3- 10mm and a diameter of 2-3mm, with yellowish brown residual stems or stem marks at the top. The surface is yellowish brown or grayish yellow, and the color becomes darker after a long time, with slight longitudinal wrinkles, some fibrous roots traces and residual fibrous roots. Solid, white or yellow-white in cross section, hollow or solid, powdery. Slight breath, slightly sweet taste.

The color is yellowish brown and the texture is solid.

2. Microscopic identification of root tuber cross section: epidermal cells are elongated tangentially, yellow-brown, partially differentiated into epidermis, and the wall is slightly lignified. The cortex is 20-30 rows of cells, with a slightly thick wall and depressions; The inner cortex is obvious. The stele is small and the sheath is 1-2 rows of parenchyma cells. The xylem and phloem are arranged at intervals. Thin-walled cells are filled with starch granules.
