Xuyi Lobster Festival is on June 12 every year.
"China Xuyi International Lobster Festival" is a traditional festival held regularly every year in Xuyi County, Jiangsu Province, since the successful holding of the "China Dragon Year Xuyi Lobster Festival" in July 2000. In 2001, it started to build a festival brand, and from 2017, it was officially renamed as "China - Xuyi (Jincheng) International Lobster Festival".
The first edition was held in Xuyi County, Jiangsu Province, and the second in Wangmian County, Jiangsu Province, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province and Shanghai Municipality. The activities include the opening ceremony, cultural performances, Xuyi Jingdi movie and television retrospective exhibition, photo exhibition of the Ming Dynasty Imperial Tombs, large-scale exhibition of the Huaihe River Scenic Zone, light show, water wedding, lobster banquet, Xuyi regional development symposium, and the closing ceremony.
