Sun Li, formerly known as Sun Shuxun, a native of Anping, Hengshui City, Hebei Province, is a famous contemporary novelist, essayist, founder of the "Lotus and Dian Dian School", and successively served as "Plain Magazine", "Tianjin Daily" Literary Supplement, "Literature and Art Newsletters" and other newspapers and magazines, and has written works on editing. 12 years old began to accept the new literature, influenced by Lu Xun and literature. At the age of 12, he began to accept new literature and was greatly influenced by Lu Xun and the Literary Research Association. "Sun Li" was his pen name since 1938 after he joined the Anti-Japanese War, and he joined the Chinese Communist Party in 1942.
