I'm not Mongolian, but I've been to Mongolia and ate it once, and it was uncomfortable at first, but you do realize that Mongolians love milk tea, right? It's that savory milk tea made from unique brick tea, sprinkled with some unknown granules on top, and it's especially fragrant.
Well, I'd say that kind of milk tea with cheese is a very authentic way to eat it. The saltiness of the milk tea covers the sourness of the cheese, it goes well together, and it doesn't overpower the flavor of the cheese. That way it won't be inedible.
Hope this helps ^-^
