The Fragrance of Rice
Lyrics:
Songwriter: Jay Chou
Sung by Jay Chou
Lyrics:
To the world, if you have too much to complain about, fell down
don't dare to continue to move forward, why
people have to be so fragile, fall
Please Turn on the TV and see how many people are trying to be brave for life
Is it time for us to be content and cherish everything even if we don't have it
Remember, you said that home is the only castle
With the rice-scented river continuing to run, a slight smile
The dreams of my childhood I know, don't cry
Let the fireflies take you to run away, the countryside ballads
Reliance forever, come home
Back to the original beauty, don't want to give up so easily
As I said
Catch up with the dream that can't be caught up with, change the dream is not enough
Color your life brightly, paint your love in your favorite color first
Smile, success is not a purpose
Let yourself be happy and joyful, that's what it's called
The paper airplane of my childhood, now finally flying back to me
The so-called that joy, chasing dragonflies in the fields barefoot
Chasing them till I'm tired, stealing fruits and being stung by bees
Stinging to be afraid of them, who's sneering at me
I'm leaning on a scarecrow, blowing in the wind
singing a song and falling asleep
Oh, oh
Afternoon jitters are more crisp in the insects, oh
Oh, the sunshine sprinkled on the road is not afraid of heartbreak
Cherish, everything even if you don't have it
Remember, you said that home is the only castle
With the river of rice continues to run, faint smile
Children's dreams I know, don't cry
Let the fireflies take you on the run, the songs of the countryside will always be relied upon
Go home, return to the original beauty
Remember, you said that home is the only castle
With the river of rice continues to run, a slight smile
Childhood dreams I know, don't cry
Let the fireflies take you on the run, the songs of the countryside will be relied upon
Eternity When Jay was a child, he envied the children who lived in the countryside, and when mango trees were planted in front of his house, he could see his next-door neighbor stealing mangoes over the wall through the window. Jay was very naughty as a child, and once he fell into a ditch while catching a pot-bellied fish. He went home and was teased by his mom that he fell in because his head was too big. All of these childhood anecdotes became Jay's inspiration for the song.
