Step 1: Prepare the required materials.
Chinese cabbage seeds (high-quality disease-free and disease-resistant seeds are selected), soil (the soil should be loose, breathable, water-retaining and fat-retaining), cultivation containers (flowerpots, wooden pots and foam plastic boxes, with small drainage holes at the bottom, preferably with a depth of about 15cm), water and watering can.
Step 2: sow and raise seedlings.
1, Chinese cabbage can be directly sown or transplanted. You can soak the seeds in warm water at 50 ~ 55℃ for 15 minutes, and then soak them in water at room temperature for 6 ~ 8 hours.
2. When the seeds are almost soaked, put the soil into a container, level it, water it with a watering can, then spread the seeds evenly on the soil surface, and then cover it with a layer of 1cm fine soil.
Step 3: Transplanting (optional).
1, seedlings need to be transplanted separately, and seedlings should be transplanted into pots when they have 4 leaves. Before entering the pot, wash the flowerpot and put it into the soil until the pot edge is 3 ~ 4 cm. Dig holes with a depth of 5 ~ 7 cm at a row interval of 10cm.
2. Carefully dig out the cabbage seedlings with a bamboo stick or a small shovel. When planting, plant the roots vertically, stretch them in the hole, straighten the plants and bury them. After planting, water the soles of the feet. If transplanting is not needed, do a good job of thinning seedlings, and the interval between each seedling is about 6- 10cm.
Step 4: Daily management.
1, Chinese cabbage likes warm and humid environment, so it can be planted in sunny and ventilated places such as rooftops and balconies.
2. After transplanting, keep moisture, keep warm and shade before delaying seedling. After 4-5 days, the seedlings can be delayed gradually when the sun appears.
3. During the growing period, topdressing is accompanied by watering for 2-3 times, and NPK compound fertilizer is suitable. (If you don't want to fertilize, you can use water instead, but it is more conducive to the growth of Chinese cabbage after fertilization. )
4. It can be harvested and eaten 20-40 days after sowing.
Step 5: Precautions.
1 It is best to water in the morning and evening, and it is not allowed to water in the overheated noon. After watering, loosen the soil with a small rake when the water penetrates into the soil and is not sticky.
2. Sowing can be carried out in the south all year round, but it is not suitable for growth in summer when the temperature is high, and sowing in spring and autumn is the best; Sowing can be done in spring, summer and autumn in the north, and indoors in winter, but the growing period will be longer.
