Yunnan Home Cooking-Steps of Boiling Potatoes with Small Melons
1. Wash the melons and potatoes (we call them Jiangba melons in Yunnan, what about you).
2. Cut the potatoes and melons and cook them in a pot with cold water! (Be sure to use cold water. Boiled melons in hot water smell like raw melons. )
3. Add salt, chicken essence and lard after the water rises! Continue to cook, and you can cook more if you like noodles (cooked)!
