Quick-frozen wonton should be cooked in hot water, not boiled water. When cooking quick-frozen wonton, first add a proper amount of water to the pot and heat it with high fire. When the water gets hot and doesn't start to boil, take the quick-frozen wonton out of the refrigerator, pour it into the pot and cook it with low fire until it is cooked.
Wonton has a thin skin. If you cook it in cold water, the taste will be affected because it takes too long. If boiled in boiling water, the skin of wonton will burst. So it is best to use hot water that is not boiling. When you cook frozen wonton, you don't need to thaw it. Take it out of the refrigerator and you can cook it directly. If it is thawed, the wonton skin will be sticky and affect the taste.
