"Good morning, migrant workers" "There are no hard jobs, only brave migrant workers".

Recently, the word "migrant workers" has become popular on the Internet. In the WeChat chat after dinner, and even in the expression war, the figure of "migrant workers" can be seen everywhere. Many people regard "migrant workers" as their true portrayal, and "migrant workers" have even become an entertainment carnival for Internet people in the face of workplace difficulties and life burdens.

Compared with "social animals", "struggle" and "007" mixed with feelings of being crushed, inferiority and resignation, "migrant workers" seem to have a little more optimism of "awakening the world" and "you and I are both laborers", which can better describe the struggle temperament of strugglers.

What do you think of the word migrant workers? Today, we talk to Internet workers of different occupations about their professional lives.

Some people think that migrant workers are "tool people" and the fruits of their labor are not respected; Some people think that "part-time job" means that they have no right to say "no", and they are forced to accept the guidance of laymen and dare not resist the overweight "KPI" set by the leaders; Some people work while spitting, taking hardships as fun and becoming an essential skill for migrant workers; Others feel that fatigue and struggle are the normal state of migrant workers, so they accept working until midnight to go home every day; Some of them are already co-founders of the company, but they are doing the work of secretary+sales, and finally they are still working. ...

More importantly, these internet workers still have obvious age anxiety, fearing that they will be photographed on the beach by the waves, and even have no job at the age of 35.

Yang Yang | 28-year-old Internet user operation

This is my third job in Beijing after five years of work. My last job was a little "paddling", which made me feel that I was really "drifting north"

For me, "drifting north" has the bitterness of working people, but it is an inspirational word. According to our elders' generation, going to Beijing is for "work", which is a bit derogatory, but for our generation, it is to work everywhere, which is somewhat self-deprecating. But you have to believe that what you give will be rewarded.

I am a "worker" who does not know how to refuse. I am very obedient. I will do whatever the boss tells me to do, and no matter how late it is, the task will be completed.

I am a user operator of an Internet company, and my daily job is to recruit student users. The boss gave a heavy KPI, and it is common to work overtime to 1 1. I don't think it's because of the high KPI and unreasonable job requirements. I just sometimes think, "Why can't I finish it?" I'm prone to self-doubt and worry that I'll be laid off if I don't finish the task well.

I was really anxious before I became a full member. At that time, the task was to expand 60 users and need to cooperate with a school community. First, we must find two core members of the community. On the last day of the mission, I haven't found those two people yet. I am desperately looking for all kinds of QQ and telephone contacts in the company. In the afternoon 1 1, the company people went to the building, and I was still looking for them. Finally found it, but it was too late to complete the KPI.

This means that I probably won't be able to get a full job, and I was very sad that night. When something goes wrong, I will choose to sleep and do it when I wake up, but many times I can't sleep, and I will be woken up immediately when I fall asleep. I try to calm myself down and find out what I can do at work next.

It's really hard to write a positive evaluation. Fortunately, my team leader took good care of me. He told me it didn't matter, and then I just needed to find someone else and I moved in smoothly.

This kind of pressure has also improved my ability and made me feel practical. I look forward to the successful completion of the project at the end of the year and get the reward of excellent team. Of course, this is all external, and I hope to be affirmed. As a worker, I haven't had this kind of enrichment for a long time. It's time to affirm myself.

I know the 35-year curse of Internet professionals. In fact, I don't want to do this business all the time and work all the time. I just want to save some money by working in the next two years, go to a second-and third-tier city and open a bar. The bar doesn't need to be very big, just 40 or 50 square meters. Invite some singers to sing. I can also play guitar and sing by myself. It's wonderful to make friends when you have nothing to do.

Circle | 33-year-old market leader of an Internet listed company

Why are they called "migrant workers"? Can you hit a worker? A 996 social animal, even if it can be defeated, will have to compensate for the lost time.

All right, a homophonic stalk. I have been working for 10 years, and I am still very ordinary, so I dare not resign casually. I am a non-core employee of a non-head Internet company, which is sad to be exact.

This is a 5% and 95% world. If you belong to 5%, you are participating in or even deciding the direction of the world, but if you belong to 95%, you can only be a worker.

At work, there are many moments to remind me that I am a "migrant worker".

Some senior executives or old employees in our company have stocks, and the company will send emails regularly to remind everyone when the trading window is. To put it bluntly, stocks can be realized. This email is sent to everyone, but I don't have any stock, and I feel very worried every time I see the notification email.

As marketers, we often need to attend the dinner of industry activities, but only the boss can serve the table, and our staff can only stand aside and starve.

Another time, the boss asked us to go outside to talk about the plan, and went in the afternoon. Later, it was a little unpleasant, and we were criticized by the boss. It was seven or eight o'clock in the evening, and the boss said that he would check the plan with the next project team, so he let us go and there was nothing to eat around. We worked all day and went home hungry. The boss has emotional freedom, but we don't. We are just "tool people" and the fruits of our labor are not respected. This is the biggest difference between bosses and migrant workers.

Working in an internet company, sadness and depression are the norm. A friend of mine in Ali said that if you are 35 years old and haven't reached P8, you will be considered as not growing up enough and be eliminated. It's not that we have age anxiety, but that the Internet industry is sensitive and unfriendly to age, especially to women.

We can only motivate ourselves: 80% of the pain in life comes from work, but I know that if I don't work, 100% of the pain comes from having no money, so I choose to work between work and having no money. Work may shorten your life by ten years, and you can't live a day without work.

There are still two years before I turn 35. Now I will pay attention to my way out and make two preparations. Many people do WeChat business and sell insurance. I don't feel ashamed. I used to see this indifference or even rejection, but now I will pay attention to it, including opening an online shop and operating a small red book. I will think about what I would do if I were in that situation, how to apply my work experience to it, and how others can succeed. As long as it can bring income and growth, it is good. To this end, I can put down my body.

Tian Liang | 27-year-old advertising company AE

The workers are talking about me. The word "migrant workers" is popular because it is difficult to find a job this year and the competitive pressure is great. In fact, it also shows that white-collar workers are ordinary workers, just like manual workers.

We are quite like running errands for the boss, and we are busy all day. The hardest thing is us, but in the end it may be that the boss bought a Rolls Royce and we made a fraction of the boss.

There are many channels for major companies to connect with the media, and it is difficult for advertising companies without housekeeping skills to survive. Advertisers in it are under great competitive pressure.

I am AE (Account Manager) myself. I need to sort out the situation of various industries, expand resources, establish contacts, understand the society, and have strong learning ability and professional knowledge. For example, the live broadcast is very popular and many customers want to enter. We must quickly understand this industry, give customers what they want, and find customers to sign the bill, and then implement it.

We have quarterly KPI, and everyone strives to win customers. At present, there are more than a dozen advertising companies waiting around a customer, and it is even more difficult to win a customer. The customer I'm talking about was only formally talked about in September last year, and only came into contact with 10 this year. A colleague of mine heard that a potential customer had a birthday the next day, and the cake shop was closed that night. He knocked on more than a dozen cake shops one by one, and finally one made an exception and promised to make cakes. My colleague held a simple birthday party for the client with this cake the next day. The customer was really moved and signed the bill immediately.

As Party B, we are basically responsive. In case of emergency or big project, I often stay up all night. On several occasions, I changed the plan at three or four in the morning and got up at seven the next day to deliver the information to the customers. There is a lot of housework to do. Once a customer needed some cartons, so I rolled up my sleeves and took the lead in gluing the cartons together as materials.

I wear a suit every day, running around in various venues and office buildings, but I often wonder when I can have a space of my own, even a small compartment. For me, the coming 30 years old is a hurdle. After struggling in Beijing for several years, I feel that my salary and career have not met expectations.

Standing at thirty is far from standing. Busy every day, but the output is not satisfactory. Now I'm a little confused and tired, and I don't know if I should continue to engage in the advertising industry.

Lu Xiao | 25-year-old venture capital project manager of Internet company.

Everyone is actually a migrant worker, but the class is different, and the boss also works for his own life.

Every morning around 9: 00, I will send a message "Good morning, migrant workers, today is another vibrant day" among my girlfriends and colleagues, and I will also use the stem of "the working soul of migrant workers, all workers are talented people" to encourage each other and start the day of being "squeezed".

10120 On the day of the live broadcast of Li Jiaqi and Viya, I squatted in the live broadcast room until about 1:30 in the morning, bought what I should buy, washed my face, continued to sit in front of the computer, and went to bed after finishing my unfinished work. At that moment, I felt that I was really a migrant worker. I have to save money and finish my work before I can sleep.

Working in an internet company is fast-paced and stressful, but I study every day. I have no previous business experience and venture capital background. At first, I spent most of my time studying to keep up with my colleagues. Later, the boss will give me many projects and activities.

During the period, I was really stressed and cried several times. Really want to resign in minutes. I remember that on the day of an activity, I was in charge. Get up at 6: 00 in the morning and skip breakfast. I braved the rainstorm and took the subway for more than an hour to reach the activity venue to prepare breakfast for the guests. After everything is ready, I'm starving. At that time, I felt that I was either a gregarious animal or a slave.

But then the boss said that I had finished all these activities very well, even better than he expected, and I suddenly felt that the previous experience was not that difficult.

Pleasure in pain is a necessary skill for a mature migrant worker. There is a spit group among our colleagues. Sometimes the boss is in a meeting, everyone is typing and spitting, sometimes they can't help laughing, and then they have to go back immediately, because the boss finds out that it is another scolding. Our colleagues are very United in private, and often make arrangements to watch movies, eat and sing together on weekends to relieve stress.

Although it is growing, age anxiety is becoming more and more obvious. At one o'clock in the morning yesterday, when I was writing PPT, I was still thinking, what should I do after I turned 35?

According to my previous job hunting experience, the workplace is not friendly to women. Some interviews were cancelled because I had a boyfriend, and some asked for drinks. I thought of two ways, to be a middle-level Internet company or to start a business. Because new demands are constantly emerging in the market, if there are good projects in the future, I may consider starting a business.

Su Daxi | UI Design of 25-year-old Dachang

I often ask myself, "Are you tired?" Tired! Just be tired, because comfort is reserved for the rich. Since I joined this company, I haven't left work at 10: 30. The normal state is to work until midnight 1 1 before I can go home.

The company won't ask you to work overtime, it will only tell you "when do you want these things", as long as you give them at that time, so they all work overtime consciously.

But in retrospect, when I first graduated, I was in high spirits. At that time, I was engaged in graphic design and didn't want to make many drawings without standards.

After the popularity of "migrant workers", I sometimes post an expression pack in the work group that "love is not the whole of life, but work is". Most of them were sent to friends, and a picture of "Good morning migrant workers" was sent early in the morning. When I was at work, I sent a sentence "Come on, migrant workers" to encourage each other.

Now that the whole team has been busy for more than two months, the APP is finally going online. You think it's over, but it's actually another beginning. Start iterative optimization immediately, or start a new project directly. My job hovers between product and technology. I will try my best to catch up with the progress given by the product manager and leave the time for technical development.

This is the attitude that a professional should have, but he is afraid that the division of labor of small companies is not clear or the work is not well coordinated. Product managers and technicians have a lot of time, but the design is stuck in the middle, and the time is particularly short, so it is urgent.

My previous company didn't pay attention to design and didn't understand it. Now the company is very good, for example, the product manager didn't expect it, but I did the design and found something illogical to communicate with him through reverse reasoning. Maybe he will accept my opinion.

On the other hand, working in a big factory is very stressful, because my colleagues around me are very powerful and often feel that they are not as good as others.

Colleagues from other big factories have done independent projects. My last job was doing graphic design in a small company. The work content belongs to the intermediate link, such as telling me "what kind of drawings I need", I will do it and change the drawings every day.

Switching to UI design is equivalent to starting all over again. After the leaders have passed, they should basically learn logic by themselves. My work experience, work experience and even work ability are different from those of my current colleagues. I am in anxiety every day, which actually affects my work status.

But as long as there is anxiety in the workplace every day, even if you start a company as the boss, you are also Party B and a migrant worker. Unless I retire one day, I may get rid of it. Every cause has its consequences. Only by constantly improving their abilities and laying a good foundation can they retire.

The only thing I'm not satisfied with is that I'm too busy to fall in love now, but fortunately, my parents don't urge me to do my career well.

A Le | 28 years old, product manager of financial listed companies.

I don't care much about the expression pack of beating workers, because I have long acknowledged that I am a migrant worker in the city. Do "village girls" in third-tier and half-town like us need to laugh at themselves collectively?

Especially if you are in a big company, the happiness of the company has nothing to do with you. Once the company's performance is not good, you will be the first to feel it-because welfare or year-end bonus is scarce immediately.

Plus, I am a product manager, and everyone has heard the saying that everyone is a product manager. When anyone seems to be able to give you a bunch of ideas, they are actually in your plan or mind, but you can't because of various compliance requirements or other reasons, you can only laugh at yourself "everyone is a product manager".

Migrant workers do not mean that they are not serious about their work, but mainly that they have no right to control and choose, and they have no right to say "no". Sometimes they are more afraid that they are not needed.

I work in a listed financial company, and I do internal-oriented systems. Compared with C-end products, the number of users is not particularly large, and the data and feedback are not particularly intuitive. The company is also sales-oriented, and its business is offline. The online system is not the most important part. If customers have any questions, they will go directly to the business manager or financial planner. The demand for apps is not particularly high.

Aside from the difficulties in cooperation, wrangling with other big companies, our group is facing the whole business group and needs to connect with different business lines, which will cause a problem: we often make plans, but the plans will never keep up with the changes. According to the plan made two months ago, the product went online, and the form of business promotion changed from A to B. The company's business came first, and we were very passive.

At the same time, whenever it comes to financial business, compliance is always the first factor, and the product department has little room to play. We will operate according to the transaction flow specified above. Over time, the company's intractable diseases were all pushed to our group, and my current working status is "abnormal product manager".

The Internet has gathered more emerging people and industries. When more and more post-00 s join this industry, even the salary is higher than mine, the pressure will naturally come.

I'll never draw a prototype. There are only a few product directors, and product manager is a new industry. Now there are almost no product managers over 40. What will happen to me after 35? How should I get up? In fact, the whole industry is still exploring.

I haven't had time to relax completely for a long time now. Even during the holidays, I still think about trivial things at home and at work. Recently, the most relaxing time was having a delicious ascetic chicken on honeymoon trip. Food heals the soul, stays away from work, and the price is low. That moment is really empty.

Peng Ji | 34 years old, an early employee of an Internet company.

Five years ago, an old friend called me and asked me to come to Beijing, saying that he had started a business and that the company would go public in the future and invited me to join. I was working in a second-tier city. I can't fight for years. I joined when I was excited.

At that time, there were few people in the company, and everyone had no salary. It is estimated that in order to motivate a few friends who joined early, they gave me the status of "co-founder" and little equity. At that time, I felt that I had started a business.

After working for so many years, the company didn't go public, but the project was a lot yellow. More importantly, I feel I am not an entrepreneur, but a migrant worker.

Before, I thought I was here to change the world, to give a speech on stage, and to brag in front of young employees. Later, it turned out that I had to do PPT for CEO every day, go out to run business, deliver tea to customers, order takeout for company employees, and even clean the office. At first, I was in charge of the market, but in fact, I did everything except make the final decision.

Back home, my family asked me what business I was doing in Beijing. What do I usually do? I said that sometimes I have to do PPT and go out to run clients. They asked, aren't you a secretary and salesman? Why do you do this when you are the boss? I said I'm not the boss, I'm just a part-time job.

The founder is very strong, and our so-called co-founders are all serious about their work. After all, you didn't register a company, you didn't come up with a business model, you didn't provide major funds, and you only had a small percentage of shares. You are starting your own business and working for others.

In the past, my impression of work was carrying my bedclothes and moving bricks in big cities by green leather train. Now I think most people in big cities are working. The pace of life is too fast now, especially for young people in big cities. Everyone is like a screw, walking in the track set by others. This is the living condition of most people.

Before coming to Beijing, I worked in an internet company for several years, reached the middle level of business posts and bought a house in a small city in the south. I was going to go back to my hometown. Being a civil servant in a small city, going to work, drinking tea and eating seafood is quite comfortable. At home, you are your own boss. Even if we go out to work, we are all locals, and the pace of life is slow, so we won't feel so crowded. After coming to Beijing, the acquaintance society has become a stranger society, social stratification is more obvious, and life is not so rich.

Floating in Beijing for so many years, I am almost 35 years old in a blink of an eye, and nothing has been created. When I go back to my hometown, I can't take a part-time job. Because of age restrictions, civil servants only recruit young people. More importantly, entrepreneurship sounds like a halo. Your family thinks that you have become your own boss and done big business. Will be the boss of a listed company in the future. Now when I go back to my hometown, I always feel lost.

I also thought about quitting my job and looking for an internet company to work hard, but the 35-year-old internet person has no advantage in the internet world of big cities, and the back wave has already photographed you on the beach.
