Chunqiu Bookstore is located in Shanghai and Beiping, with Shanghai as the head. From 1930 to 1933, many works promoting Marxism-Leninism were published. Chunqiu Bookstore in Beiping mainly sells books from Chunqiu Bookstore in Shanghai, and occasionally publishes them. In 1930s, the underground party in Beiping covered revolutionary activities with antique shops, radio stations and bookstores. During the Spring and Autumn Period, the sales of revolutionary books such as Marxism-Leninism in Beiping have long been concerned by enemy agents. Pan Dongzhou, Lu Yiming and others often visit this place. In the past three years, almost all publications in the Spring and Autumn Period have been banned by the authorities. With the arrest of Pan Dongzhou, the Kuomintang immediately arrested dozens of people, including Li Chengzhi, in Beiping Chunqiu Bookstore.
