Alias pond bottom vegetable, water cabbage, water mustard, water lettuce, ragweed and seaweed.

It comes from Ottelia ali *** oides (L.)Pers., a plant belonging to the genus Crocodactylidae, and is used as a whole herb. Collect the whole grass in spring and summer, wash and dry.

Sexual taste is sweet, light and cool.

Functions: clearing away heat and resolving phlegm, detoxicating and diuresis. Used for cough due to lung heat, tuberculosis, hemoptysis, asthma, edema and dysuria; External use for carbuncle, swelling, burns and scalds.

Usage and dosage 0.5 ~1two. Appropriate amount is applied externally, and fresh products are pounded and applied to the affected area.
