Characteristics of Belcher sea snake
Belcher sea snakes only attack when they are treated with strong hostility. Because they are sea snakes, the victims are usually fishermen. They often encounter this kind of snake when they collect their nets from the sea.
They can be found in the waters near Southeast Asia and northern Australia. Habitat in shallow water around the island is rare in the open sea where the water depth exceeds 100 meters. Some of them like to stay in muddy water at the bottom of sand or mud, while others like to move in the clear water around coral reefs.
It is very simple to avoid being attacked. Don't deliberately approach the Belcher sea snake. If a Belcher sea snake swims near, keep calm and still until it leaves. Divers must be very careful with sea snakes.
Belcher sea snakes are mostly neurotoxic, but there are few studies on the toxicity of Belcher sea snakes at present. As the king of the top ten poisonous snakes in the world, Belcher sea snakes have no serum to detoxify at present, which is much scarier than the top ten poisonous snakes in China. Although Belcher sea snake is the most poisonous snake, it is also the most docile snake, and never takes the initiative to hurt people.
