How to cook persimmon?
One: plant ash ripening method.

Prepare a layer of plastic film cloth in advance and lay it flat on the ground. Covered with fresh plant ash, the thickness of plant ash is about 15 ~ 20cm high. Put the newly picked persimmons into plant ash one by one, let plant ash submerge the persimmons, and then cover them with plastic sheets. In this way, after about 7~ 10 days, the persimmon will gradually become rosy and mature.

You can also put plant ash in a bucket or basin, immerse the newly picked persimmons in a plant ash, and then seal the mouth of the bucket or basin with plastic film. In this way, after about a week, the persimmon will gradually become rosy and mature.

Two: cooking wine vinegar ripening method.

Arrange the persimmons picked first one by one. Choose high-concentration cooking wine and pour it into a bowl. Brush the persimmons one by one with a toothbrush dipped in cooking wine, especially where the persimmons hang on the branches, and apply a few more drops, which will also make the persimmons mature quickly. If you can cover it with plastic film after painting wine, it will shorten the ripening time of persimmon.

Persimmons can be ripened with vinegar in the same way. I suggest using white vinegar here.

Three: fruit mutual induction method.

Persimmons can be put in the same drawer (or the same bucket or basin) as apples, bananas, mangoes and pears. If you put it in a bucket or basin and cover it with a thick cloth, it will increase its tightness. Because of the mutual influence of fruits, persimmons will be ripened at the same time.

Four: salt water immersion method.

Although this method can't make persimmon soft, it can make persimmon ripe and taste as crisp as an apple.

Choose a large basin, put in 2/3 warm water and add some salt. Stir the water with chopsticks to make the salt fully melt. Put the picked persimmons in a pot and drown them with water. If the persimmon floats, you can press the lid and other things in the basin to let the persimmon sink into the water. In this way, after about 24 hours, you can take out the persimmon and eat it.
