Identification of bitter bamboo leaves
Most of the dry leaves are slender and coiled. After deployment, the leaves are needle-shaped, with a length of 6 ~12cm and a width of10 ~15mm. The apex is pointed and the bottom is round. The petiole is 6 ~ 10 mm long. The upper surface is grayish green and smooth, and the lower surface is rough and hairy. The main vein is relatively rented, with 8 ~ 16 veinlets on both sides and fine serrations on the edge. Brittle and elastic. The gas is weak and the taste is slightly bitter. It is best to have light green leaves and roll them into a tube.
