The full name is clamation d' origine Controlee, which means wine from legal producing areas and is the highest grade of French wine. French wine grades can be divided into four grades, from high to low, AOC, VDQS, VDP and VDT.
If the AOC label of red wine is smaller, it means that the grade of red wine is higher. Generally speaking, the smaller the range of origin, the higher the quality of red wine and the better the taste. In a word, AOC in red wine is the best red wine with higher grade.
The method of distinguishing the grade of red wine:
First, look.
Take a bottle of red wine without opening it, and look at the advantages and disadvantages of red wine from the following aspects:
1. Turn the red wine bottle upside down and tilt it at a certain angle to see if there is more sediment and sediment at the bottom of the bottle in the face of sunlight or lighting effects. If it is too much, it means that there is something wrong with this wine. If there is no or a small amount of completely transparent precipitate, everything is normal (tartaric acid will be produced in the whole process of long-term alcohol development of red wine, which will cause tartar precipitation).
2. Use a small strong light flashlight or mobile phone flashlight to develop and design under the red wine bottle. The light source immediately passed through the bottle, and the clear red light showed that there was no problem with the quality of the red wine. If the light source is scattered, it can't be washed clean through the red wine bottle, which means that the wine is probably moldy and can't be eaten.
Second, the sense of smell.
Smell the cork first after opening the bottle cap. If it smells moldy, it is recommended not to eat it. Pour into a red wine glass and shake it gently. Smell this wine. It has a strong fragrance and is a good wine. If there is a musty smell and a very irritating ethanol smell, it means that this wine is broken and does not need to be eaten.
