Among the vegetables to lose weight, carrots are my top priority. I just like the compactness and convenience of carrots. I love them cooked, uncooked and ground in salads. What I like best is that carrots are economical and well preserved in the refrigerator, and they taste delicious.
They are very healthy. Imagine all the beta-carotene and fiber! They made healthy sticks that could be dipped in hummus. Immerse in the right amount of flavor-you don't have to drown the whole carrot stick. And they won't get stuck in your teeth.
2. Mushrooms
Mushrooms are delicious and versatile. You can put them in almost anything! Put them in a frying pan with chicken or fish and a pinch of mixed herbs, or put them in an omelet with tomatoes and chives. Nothing is faster than putting mushrooms and caramelized onions on that lamb chop.
Because they have little flavor of their own, they can be blended into anything you are cooking! The best example I know is to use half chopped mushrooms (equal weight) instead of half chopped mushrooms, and then cut them into hamburgers or meatballs, or season them with bologna sauce. No one will notice this, because the flavor is enhanced and the texture of the meat is increased without increasing kilojoules. Mushroom growers call it "fusibility".
3. Cucumber
Cucumber has a lot of water and meat, but no fat or carbohydrate. Now, it has many different lengths and shapes.
There is one for every occasion. I use "small pieces" that are cut into small pieces vertically and immerse them in a quarter to soak and paste, but like longer pieces, they are used for apples and cucumbers on salads and sandwiches. Same as above, used for raw fennel and radish.
4.celery
Like cucumber, celery is almost water and hardly supplies kilojoules, so it is very suitable for losing weight. You can also get fibers. This is another kind of vegetable, very delicious, but crisp and crisp.
5. Broccoli
Broccoli has really worked since low-carbohydrate/ketone followers began to look for low-carbohydrate substitutes for potatoes, rice and pizza. It's easy to understand why. This is a low-density food, which contains no fat, a lot of fiber and tastes delicious. When you try to lose weight, it is a wonderful vegetable because it has a wide range of uses. Can it replace a pile of mashed potatoes? Or a bowl of rice, and then drastically cut carbohydrates and kilojoules.
You can use broccoli in everything from pizza to broccoli steak in a frying pan. Half of cauliflower has a long way to go, so why not buy big money when it is the season?
If you don't like it all the time, please try to cook it gently-just to remove its toughness and soften it to bite. Don't overcook it.
