Is linseed oil the same as flax oil?

Although linseed oil and linseed oil are both squeezed from linseed, the two edible oils are different because of their different production techniques and suitable cooking methods.

The difference between linseed oil and linseed oil
Different production processes
Linseed oil: It is obtained by squeezing the cleaned and impurity-removed linseed directly at a temperature lower than 60℃. It is golden in color, smells light linseed, tastes slightly bitter, and has a strong fish flavor after heating.
Linseed oil: it is obtained by baking and frying the cleaned raw materials and squeezing them. It contains rich flaxseed fragrance and is slightly bitter, and it is brownish red.
Suitable cooking methods are different.
Flaxseed oil: In order to maintain the efficacy of α -linolenic acid, it can't be used for high-temperature cooking. It is mostly used for making cold salad, preparing salad and making mixed sauce, or directly drenched as bright oil.
Sesame oil: The usage is the same as that of ordinary edible oil, which can be used for cooking and frying, and also for making moon cakes.

Edible method of linseed oil
1, making sandwiches
