China Huiyuan is the leading enterprise of concentrated juice in China. According to statistics of AC Nielsen, by the first half of 2007, Huiyuan's share in the domestic 100% juice market was 46% and 39.8% respectively, and it continued to be the first in the market.
On February 18, 2008, Coca-Cola Bottle Production (Dongguan) Co., Ltd. signed an agreement with Wuhan Food Industry Processing Zone to invest 700 million yuan to produce a series of non-carbonated beverages. The project mainly produces fruit juice drinks, tea drinks and other series, while filling coffee drinks.
Coca-Cola Company began to enter the domestic pure juice market in 2007, and now it has formed a tripartite confrontation with the same taste drinks of Uni-President and Master Kong. PepsiCo also introduced Tropicana, its largest fruit juice beverage brand, into China, but only entered the low-concentration fruit juice beverage market.
