Ingredients: grapefruit peel, edible salt, honey 200g, old rock sugar 200g, grapefruit meat 300g, water 500g.
Making:
1) Simply clean the grapefruit skin, then scrub the surface with edible salt, and finally wash off the salt on the surface. Then peel off the skin and take out the grapefruit meat.
It is best not to involve the white film on the surface of grapefruit meat, which will be a bit bitter to eat.
2) Remove the white pulp from the grapefruit skin, and then cut the skin into filaments separately.
3) Blanch the grapefruit skin after the water in the pot is boiled, mainly to remove most of the bitterness. Wash it several times after blanching, and slowly turn the washed yellow water into clear water.
4) Put the old rock sugar, grapefruit meat and squeezed grapefruit peel into a non-stick pan, bring to a boil, and turn to low heat to continue cooking. Slowly, with the increase of temperature, the water in it will evaporate slowly, and finally it will be stirred until it is very viscous and close to solid, and then honey will be added and stirred evenly.
After finishing, put it into a dry and disinfected container and seal it. If you want to drink, rush into hot water. This taste is sweet and sour, healthier and better than carbonated drinks.
Ingredients: grapefruit pulp left in the last step (you can also take the skin without a separate pulp, which will make the skin feel better), rock sugar or white sugar, and water.
Making:
1) Cut the grapefruit pulp into small squares, then put cold water into the pot, turn off the fire immediately after boiling, and put it into a clear water basin for several times.
Turn off the fire immediately after boiling, otherwise the grapefruit pulp will lose its toughness for too long and will roll later.
When washing grapefruit pulp, pay attention to washing it several times until the yellow water is washed into white water.
2) Put 400 grams of rock sugar and water in the pot, cook with strong fire until the rock sugar melts and boils, then add the squeezed grapefruit pulp, stir fry with low fire until the grapefruit pulp absorbs all the sugar, and continue to stir fry until obvious sand is seen. Turn off the fire and continue to stir fry, and grapefruit sugar will be fine.
