2. Sows will also be accompanied by infertility, miscarriage and stillbirth. When dissecting a dead pig, it will be found that the spleen, liver, lung and other organs and lymph nodes are seriously swollen, with extensive bleeding and congestion. The mortality rate of this disease is very high in acute stage, especially for sows and big pigs.
3. There are three stages from African swine fever virus entering the farm to death:
The first stage is the incubation period, which is usually about 4-9 days. At this time, the pig's active feeding will not be affected, and its appearance is normal, but the virus will multiply in pigs and spread rapidly, thus entering the onset period.
The second stage is the onset period, usually about 3-5 days. Pigs will begin to feel lazy and weak, anorexia, body temperature rising gradually, and small patches of red and purple appear on their skin. With the aggravation of the disease, cyanosis will gradually expand, and their body temperature will continue above 40℃.
The third stage is the death stage, which usually dies on the seventh day after fever, and will die in severe 1-2 days. In the early stage of death, the drop of pig's body temperature is the biggest difference from other epidemics.
