Prepare the tools (fine Phillips screwdriver, one screwdriver, tweezers, razor blade, soft cloth) and the laptop to be removed.
Step 2: Remove the Battery
Turn the laptop upside down, open the battery latch, and remove the battery.
Step 3: Remove the back panel
Unscrew the two back panels on the back of the laptop and remove the panels.
Step 4: Remove the hard disk
Unplug the hard disk cable and remove the hard disk.
Step 5: Remove the NIC
Gently pull out the NIC from the data slot, gently pry off the metal clip on the power cord, and remove the NIC.
Step 6: Remove the buckle
Face the notebook up, open the LCD screen, gently pry the upper part of the keyboard buckle upward, and then, open the row of wires connected to the motherboard, remove the buckle.
Step 7: Remove the keyboard
Pry the keyboard gently off the top (be careful not to rip the wires underneath), remove the wires, and remove the keyboard.
Step 8: Remove the LCD screen
The LCD screen and the two connecting wires to the motherboard, including power, data, unscrew the display screws, take the display.
Step 9: Remove the touchpad
Gently detach the connecting wires between the touchpad and the motherboard, and take the main case of the touchpad.
Step 10: Remove the optical drive, etc.
Remove the fixing screws and remove the optical drive, heatsink and fan on the back.
Step 11: Remove the motherboard
Unplug the row of wires and the sockets of the lines next to them, then, when removing the motherboard, pay attention to the connecting wires underneath, and remove the motherboard and accessories.
Step 12: Remove the memory
Gently push the memory stick fixing metal clips to both sides, the memory stick will pop upward, then, pull out the memory stick.
Step 13: Remove the CPU
Loosen the CPU metal clips and pull out the CPU.
The CPU will be removed from the motherboard.
