The first chocolate factory in the world was established in 1960.
The Frenchman Doret invented a machine to grind cocoa beans and stir chocolate pulp instead of human hands. 1780, an entrepreneur started to produce chocolate by machine in Bayonne. Thanks to the industrial inventions of19th century, we can enjoy delicious high-quality chocolate today. There are three steps to make high-quality chocolate: thoroughly cleaning the selected cocoa beans, baking the cocoa beans to bring out the fragrance, and grinding the cocoa beans and sugar (milk is needed to make milk chocolate). Every working procedure should be meticulous.
