Applying olive oil to your face every day is really effective.
Whether it is good to rub your face with olive oil depends mainly on your skin type. If you have dry skin, rubbing it with olive oil every day is good for your skin. However, if you have oily skin, which naturally produces more oil, external use of olive oil may clog the pores and increase the burden.
So for people with oily skin, it is best not to rub your face with olive oil every day, otherwise it will be detrimental to the skin. So don’t believe these words easily. Olive oil is mostly used for stir-frying. It can increase the taste of the dishes, make the vegetables more delicate, and maximize the nutritional value of the food.
How to select olive oil
1. Look at the processing technology: If it is extra virgin olive oil, it is usually cold pressed and refined. According to the new edible oil management regulations, the processing method must be indicated on the outer packaging of the product.
2. Look at the bottling location: Imported olive oil is divided into original packaging and repackaging. The former has a relatively high safety probability. The two can be distinguished from the food barcode on the back of the oil bottle. If the barcode starts with 60 or 69, it is likely that it was imported in large barrels and then repackaged domestically. The Italian original barcode begins with 80 or 83, the Greek barcode begins with 520, and the Spanish barcode begins with 84.
3. Look at the product packaging: Olive oil is sensitive to light. If the light is sustained or strong, the olive oil will be easily oxidized. Therefore, it is recommended to buy products packaged in dark glass bottles or containers that are not easily transparent to light, so that the storage time will be longer and the nutrients will not be easily destroyed.
