Northeast Yangko Northeast Yangko is a popular folk art form of Han nationality in China with a long history.

During the Spring Festival and Lantern Festival, in order to prevent people from gathering to revolt, Yuan Bing called men from all families and led them to sing and dance. Later, this activity was handed down as a form of performance and evolved into today's yangko. The basis of this statement is that there is a figure "Lao Ta" (referring to Yuan Bing) in the traditional yangko in Jilin, who is the leader and conductor of the yangko team.
