How is the agar medium made?
In order to enable the normal growth and development of edible fungi, the medium must have sufficient carbon and nitrogen nutrition, in addition to the ratio of carbon and nitrogen (carbon and nitrogen ratio, C/N). This will ensure that the nutritional growth stage of the nutritional needs, but also to ensure the smooth progress of reproductive growth. For example, the suitable carbon and nitrogen ratio (C/N) of Brazilian mushroom culture material is 28-30:1, the nitrogen content is 1.4%-1.6%, and the feeding amount is 30-35 kg/m 2. We can design the formula in accordance with the carbon and nitrogen ratio of the main materials of the culture material (see Appendix 4 for details).
