Difference between dim sum and pastry?
Snacks are foods other than staple foods, usually made with grain as the main ingredient. Dim sum in different regions is very different, both in terms of production method and taste. Dim sum, which refers to Western, i.e., European and American dim sum, is mainly made by baking or deep-frying, such as cookies, cakes and the like, and is mainly sweet in flavor. In contrast, Oriental dim sum, the production method, main ingredients, flavors are diverse, such as peach cake, fried cake, fried buns, mung bean cake, donkey rolls and so on. Overall, the Oriental dim sum is far richer than the Western point of view.
