The standard name of Wanzhangsheng should be "Wanzhangshen", with different names, such as Caulis Equiseti, Fine Grass (Selected Chinese Herbal Medicine in Yunnan), Zhuyeqing, Wanzhangsheng, Fine Leaves, Wanzhangshen, Iron Broom (Common Folk Herbs in Kunming), Brush Asarum (Catalogue of Medicinal Plants in Guizhou), Milk Plasma Ginseng and Green Stem Returning to Yang.

Ginseng (Red River Chinese Herbal Medicine). Wanzhang is a perennial herb with a height of 20 ~ 45 cm and white milk.

The roots are very long and there is milk. The stems are erect and clustered, with several bifurcations and obvious ridges. Born in bamboo forests on hillsides or wet places by rivers. The stems and leaves of this plant are also used for medicine.
