Guava and pomegranate are not exactly one kind.
Although they have similar names, they come from different plant species.
The pomegranate is a fruit tree belonging to the pomegranate family and is mainly found along the Mediterranean coast and in Asia. Guava, on the other hand, is a fruit tree belonging to the guava family and is mainly found in tropical and subtropical regions.
Their appearance and taste are also different, pomegranate fruit is round, juice bright red juicy, while the guava fruit is oval or spherical, the skin is mostly green, the flesh taste white, juice sweet and sour. Therefore, guava and pomegranate is not the same kind of fruit.
