Vladivostok is also called Vladivostok. In the southernmost tip of Russia's Amur Peninsula there is a city with two names, the Chinese name is Vladivostok, the Russian name is Vladivostok. Before 1860, it was called Vladivostok and was under the jurisdiction of the Qing government, but since then it has been a Russian territory, and has been renamed Vladivostok, which means "rule of the East" in Russian.

Vladivostok, with a land area of 600 square kilometers, is about 20 times the size of Macau. Vladivostok is a natural frozen port, the largest port in the Russian Far East, and also the largest trading port in the Russian Far East, the port's annual throughput is about 10 million tons, of which about 4 million tons of domestic transportation and 3 million tons of foreign transportation. Vladivostok also has the Pacific State Medical University, the Far Eastern State University of Fisheries Technology, the Far Eastern Federal University, the Russian Customs and other institutions of higher learning, as well as the Russian Institute of Automation and Control Processes, the Russian Institute of Applied Mathematics and other scientific and educational institutions.
