Choose different foods according to different constitutions;

Constitution classification is a unique theory of traditional Chinese medicine. People's physique can be divided into cold, heat, deficiency and excess. Know your physique first, and then cooperate with the corresponding food, in order to achieve the effect of maintaining your body. The judgment of Chinese medicine on human physique is based on the following main characteristics:

Characteristics of cold constitution: pale complexion, listlessness, being quiet but not talkative, easy to get tired, pale mouth but not thirsty, aversion to cold and liking heat, cold hands and feet, pale tongue with white and smooth fur, and slow or tight pulse.

People with cold constitution should choose warmer food. Those who are cold choose temperature and those who are cold choose heat. Food can be eaten warm, but it should not be overheated. The standard should be "hot lips do not burn".

Characteristics of heat constitution: red face, irritability, aversion to heat and cold, dry mouth and thirst, dry mouth or mouth and tongue prone to sores, fever of hands and feet. Red tongue with yellow coating and rapid pulse.

People with hot constitution should choose people with cold nature in their diet. Those who are slightly hot choose cool food, and those who are very hot choose cool food. Food can be eaten cold, but not too cold. The standard should be "eating ice-free teeth".

The characteristics of deficiency syndrome constitution: "deficiency" means qi deficiency. Common symptoms are pale or sallow complexion, mental fatigue, palpitation and shortness of breath, cold limbs, spontaneous sweating, pale and tender tongue, weak and heavy pulse, or vexation of five senses, emaciation, red cheekbones, dry mouth and throat, night sweats and hot flashes, red tongue with little coating, and weak and numerous pulse.

Deficiency should be supplemented by food, but yin deficiency, yang deficiency, qi deficiency and blood deficiency should be distinguished, and foods with nourishing yin, strengthening yang, benefiting qi and nourishing blood should be selected respectively.

Characteristics of solid constitution: "solid" refers to common pathogenic factors, such as fever, abdominal distension, chest tightness and irritability, heavy breathing, constipation, unfavorable urination or dripping pain, thick and greasy tongue coating, and strong pulse. For solid constitution, you should choose foods with laxative effect.

Modern people live in abnormal quality of life such as overwork, cold and acrimony for a long time, which creates complex physique, and a single physique is almost invisible. People with excessive constitution often have heat syndrome at the same time, which is collectively called excess heat constitution; People with deficiency syndrome often have cold syndrome constitution, which is called deficiency cold constitution. In addition to the above classification, constitution may be mixed with cold and heat, and cold and heat may be true or false.

Real heat constitution: rosy complexion, high and powerful voice, irritability, fear of heat, like to drink cold drinks. Under normal circumstances, especially in summer, symptoms such as dry mouth, yellow urine and constipation are prone to occur, and when the pressure is high, symptoms such as hypertension and headache often occur. The tongue is red, the coating is yellow and dry, and the pulse is smooth and firm.

For excess heat constitution, we should choose cold food and avoid warm food.

Deficiency-cold constitution: pale or sallow complexion, inability to speak, aversion to cold and warmth, cold limbs in winter, long urination and loose stools, and diarrhea, abdominal distension and abdominal pain are easy to occur when stress is high. The tongue is light and tender, and the pulse is slight or heavy.

Deficiency and cold constitution should choose warm food and avoid cold food.
