1, Wusuli River is a tributary of Heilongjiang in China and the boundary river between China and Russia. The upper reaches are formed by the confluence of the Wula River and the Dobby River. Both rivers originate from the southwest slope of the Sikhote Mountains and flow northeast to Khabarovsk (Boli) to join Heilongjiang.

2. It is 909 kilometers (565 miles) long and has a drainage area of187,000 square kilometers (72,200 square miles). The river is wide and the water is slow. The main tributaries are Songacha River, Mu River and Naoli River. A long section of the main stream once caused a border dispute between China and the Soviet Union (1969), and in 1977, the two sides formulated navigation rules in the border waters of China and the Soviet Union. The Wusuli River has a freezing period of about 5 months. Navigable below the mouth of the Wula River.
