Bletilla striata (scientific name: Bletilla striata) is also known as Lotus Grass, Gangen, Baigei, Roland, Zhu Lan, Ziyan, Zihui and Bletilla striata.
Perennial herbaceous bulbous plants (tuberous roots), plant height 18-60 cm. Mainly distributed in China, Japanese and northern Myanmar. The main flowering period is in spring, but it may also bloom in late winter to early summer depending on the climate in different places.
Bletilla striata has a wide range of medicinal and garden values. Mainly used for hemostasis, detumescence and granulation. Flowers are purplish red, white, blue, yellow and pink, which can be potted indoors or decorated in a cool flower stand, flower border or courtyard corner.
