Jiaowan Scenic Area is the most popular beach area in Guangdong Province, with more than 1 million tourists visiting it every year since 1997.

This scenic spot is located in Zhapo Town, Hailing Island, Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province. It is rich in natural tourism resources and has beautiful scenery. It is famous both at home and abroad for its clear water, clean sand and soft waves.

And it is managed according to the ISO9001/14001 quality and environmental management system, so that the scenic facilities are perfected day by day and the taste is continuously improved.

In 1989, it was rated as one of the first batch of provincial scenic spots in Guangdong Province, and in 1994, it was rated as one of the first batch of provincial tourist resorts in Guangdong Province.

In 2001, it was rated as one of the first batch of national AAAA-level tourist scenic spots by the National Tourism Administration. It is the only AAAA-level seaside scenic spot in Guangdong Province.

After development and construction, the Dajiao Bay Scenic Area has gradually formed three major areas. The east side of the scenic area has become a sports area and has been built as a training base for the national beach volleyball team. Lingdao belongs to Yangjiang City and is the fourth largest island in Guangdong. There are two towns on the island: Zhapo and Hailing.
