First, after we open CorelDRAW, the welcome screen as shown in figure 1 will be displayed. In this interface, we can see the highlights of the software and popular operation tutorials. You can also buy series elements and templates in the store. If we want to start designing, please click "+New Document" above to create a new canvas.
After clicking "+New Document", the interface shown in Figure 2 will pop up, where you can edit some properties of the new document. We can name documents in this interface for easy storage and subsequent use. In the "Zoom" column below, we can edit the page size. In the Page Size column, you can select common sizes, such as A3, A4, business cards, etc. You can also edit the height and width directly according to the required size.
After creating a new document, we will enter the operation interface as shown in Figure 3. We created an A4-sized document, and you can see the displayed page size in the upper left corner. The A4-sized box in the middle is a canvas, and we design within this range. Some design elements can also be added to the surrounding area. If a new page is added, it will appear directly on the next page.
At the bottom of the canvas, we can see the number of pages and the current page. We can add a new page by clicking+. If the design element is in the canvas, it will not appear on the next page; If the design element is outside the canvas, it will appear on the next page.
After we select a page, click the right mouse button to edit it. You can rename the page, insert new pages before and after the page, delete the page, and switch the page direction.
After we design it, we can keep it. Select "Save As File" to save; We can also open existing files. It should be noted that the high version software can open the document designed by the low version, but the low version software cannot open the document designed by the high version. Through the introduction of beginners, I believe everyone has a preliminary understanding of CorelDRAW's operating interface. Through continuous practice and in-depth exploration, we will certainly be able to master the skills of graphic design!
