Wang has served as secretary, general Ningyuan and Jiangzhou secretariat. Later, it was the civil history of Huiji, and the right general was called "Wang Youjun". In March of the 11th year of Yonghe (355), he called himself ill and abandoned his official, and moved to Jinting with his son Cao. Build a library, plant mulberry fruits, teach children, write poems and make paintings and calligraphy for entertainment. And with Xu Xun, Zhi Dun, all the celebrities, all over the landscape.
since Wang settled in Jinting, calligraphy has risen. His descendants are good at calligraphy and painting, and their works are hung all over the hall and study, so they are called "Hua Yuan Painting Hall". Later generations named the village "Huatang", which has been called since then. Wang Xizhi's remains spread all over the county. Duxiu Mountain in the west of Shengxi is Wang Xizhi's reading place, and the plaque of "Old Tour Place of Right Army" is hung in Guanyin Hall on the mountain. The main temple of Taoyuan Township was built in the foothills, with Wang Youjun as the township owner. Xizhiping in the Lushan Mountain in the north of Shengsheng, Qingyin Temple in the east of Shengsheng, and Wanghanling at the junction of Shengxin, etc., are all places for Wang's recreation, and there are still traces to be found.
In the fifth year of the Eastern Jin Dynasty (361), Wang Zu was buried in Jinting Waterfall Mountain (also known as Ziteng Mountain), and his fifth Sun Heng's house was Jintingguan, and the site still exists. During the reign of Liang Datong (535-546), Chien Sun Youjun Temple was built in front of the tomb, and a bookstore and Mo Chi were built next to the temple. Tang Peitong wrote "The Book of Ink Pond in Jinting Guanjin Youjun Bookstore". In the seventh year of the Great Cause of Sui Dynasty (611), the seventh monk Sun Zhiyong instructed his disciple Shang Gao (Shaomen, Yongxin Temple, Xing Wu) to go to the Jinting to offer sacrifices to sweep, and wrote "The Tomb of Waterfall Mountain Exhibition" to erect a monument in front of the tomb. During the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, Zhang Tuguan made a monument to the right of the tomb. In the 15th year of Hongzhi (152), the stone tablet of "Jin Wang Youjun Tomb" was rebuilt, which still exists today. In the winter of the 29th year of Daoguang reign in Qing Dynasty (1849), Sun Xiuqing, Wang's heir, built the memorial archway of "Jin Wang Youjun Tomb Road" in Jintingguan, which is still intact.
When it comes to the love for geese, Wang Xizhi, a great calligrapher in the Jin Dynasty, is the most prominent one. There is a story here:
It is said that Wang Xizhi, a noble and virtuous man, had little interest in being an official, so he left the noisy and boring capital and came to the south of the Yangtze River with pleasant scenery. When he lived in Shaoxing, he often wandered in Zeguo, a water town, and observed the geese. Goose after goose, with neat and beautiful feathers and elegant posture. Some of them float, some sing and some play. ..................................................................................................................................................................................
One day, he was pleasantly surprised to find that a goose was unusual in appearance. Its feathers were as white as snow, and its crown was as red as a jewel. In particular, its singing was particularly pleasant. He liked it very much, and immediately sent someone to inquire about it nearby. If he wanted to buy this goose, he would pay twice as much. It turns out that the owner of the goose is a white-haired old woman, and there are no relatives around the old man, only this white goose is the companion. Although her family is poor, the goose can't bear to part with it. When Wang Xizhi learned about these situations, he fully understood the old man's feelings and said that he would not buy this precious goose. In order to make an observation, he decided to call at home.
Besides, the old woman was very happy when she heard that the calligrapher Wang Xizhi was going to visit her home, but what should she do to entertain her guests? The old man was worried when suddenly there was a cry of "Oh-ah-"in the yard. Oh, yes, in order to entertain the guests, the old man killed his beloved white goose and cooked a delicious dish, waiting for the arrival of Wang Xizhi.
in a short time, Wang Xizhi walked into this humble hut with hurried steps. When he learned that the warm and generous host brought the only beloved thing to entertain guests, his eyes were moist: he felt sorry for the death of this goose, and was even more moved by the host's kindness ... So he asked someone to find an ink pen and write on the hexagonal bamboo fan he brought with him, and handed it to the old woman, saying, "Old man, I have nothing to thank you for. Please take this fan to the market and sell it for 1 yuan. The old man refused, and Xizhi said with deep affection: This is a little token of my respect for your old man!
Wang Xizhi writes for geese
Wang Xizhi was a great calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. He was born in the
clan, and with his outstanding talent, all the ministers in the imperial court recommended
him as an official. He was a secretariat and a general of the right army (people also called him Wang Youjun).
Wang Xizhi loved writing since childhood. It is said that when walking at ordinary times,
also practiced calligraphy with his fingers at any time. After a long time, even his clothes were
cut. After studying hard and practicing hard, Wang Xizhi's calligraphy has become more and more famous. People at that time regarded his handwriting as a treasure.
It is said that Wang Xizhi once went to a village. An old
mother-in-law carried a basket of hexagonal bamboo fans to sell at the collection. That kind of
bamboo fan is very simple, with no decoration, which can't interest passers-by. It seems that it can't be sold, and the old woman is very anxious.
Wang Xizhi felt sorry for the old woman when he saw this situation, so he went up to her and said, "You can't sell this bamboo fan without the word
. How about I give you an inscription? "
The old woman didn't know Wang Xizhi. Seeing his enthusiasm, she gave him a bamboo fan to write.
Wang Xizhi picked up a pen and wrote five words on each fan, which he returned to the old woman. Old
' s mother-in-law can't read, and she feels that his handwriting is sloppy and unhappy.
Wang Xizhi comforted her and said, "Don't worry. You told the fan buyer that it was written by Wang Youjun.
As soon as Wang Xizhi left, the old woman did as he said. People on the collection rushed to buy Wang Youjun's book
when they saw it. A basket of bamboo fans will be sold out soon.
Many artists have their own hobbies, some like to grow flowers and some like to keep birds. But Wang Xizhi has his
special hobby. Wherever there is a good goose, he is interested in seeing it or buying it back to enjoy it.
There is a Taoist priest in the mountain shade. He wants Wang Xizhi to write him a volume of Tao Te Ching. However, he knew that Wang Xizhi would not copy scriptures for others easily. Later, he found out that Wang Xizhi liked white geese, so he specially raised < P > a group of geese with good varieties.
Wang Xizhi heard that there were good geese in the Taoist family, so he really went to see them. When he approached the Taoist priest's house, he saw a flock of geese floating leisurely on the water in the river, all dressed in snow-white feathers, setting off the high red ceiling, which was really
cute.
Wang Xizhi looked around the river, and was reluctant to leave, so he sent someone to find a Taoist priest and asked to sell the geese to him.
The Taoist priest said with a smile, "Since the princes love it so much, they don't need to spend any money. I'll send all these geese to you.
. But I have one request, that is, please write a scroll of scriptures for me. "
Wang Xizhi did not hesitate to copy a scroll of scriptures for the Taoist priest, and the geese were taken back by Wang Xizhi.
Wang Xizhi's godson studied calligraphy
You Keqin
Wang Xianzhi, the seventh son of Wang Xizhi, was smart and studious since childhood, specializing in cursive and official calligraphy, and was also good at drawing. He began to learn calligraphy when he was seven or eight years old, and studied under his father. On one occasion, Wang Xizhi saw that Xian Zhi was practicing calligraphy attentively, so he quietly walked behind him and suddenly reached out to draw the brush in his hand. Xian Zhi held the pen firmly and was not drawn off. The father was very happy and praised: "This son will be famous again." Xiao Xian felt smug after listening to it. Another time, a friend of Xizhi asked Xian to write on the fan, and then he wrote with a brush. Suddenly, the pen fell on the fan, polluting the words. Xiao Xian had a brainwave and a calf came to life on the fan. In addition, people are full of praise for the calligraphy and painting offered, and the small offer has fostered pride. The parents who gave it were thoughtful when they saw this scene ...
One day, Xiao Xianzhi asked his mother, Xi, "I just need to write it for another three years, right?" Mom shook her head. "Five years of head office?" Mom shook her head again. I was in a hurry and said to my mother, "How long do you think it will take?" "Remember, after you finish writing these 18 jars of water in the courtyard, your handwriting will have bones and muscles, and you will stand upright and steady." When I turned around, my father stood behind him. Wang Xianzhi refused to accept it and said nothing. He gritted his teeth and practiced for five years, showing his father a lot of written words, hoping to hear a few words of praise. Who knows, Wang Xizhi shook his head one by one. When the word "big" was lifted, my father showed a satisfied expression, filled in a dot under the word "big" casually, and then returned all the manuscripts to the dedication.
Xiao Xian's heart was still not satisfied, and she showed all the calligraphy to her mother and said, "I practiced for another five years, and I practiced it completely according to my father's words. Look carefully, what is the difference between my father's and mine? " Mother really looked at it carefully for three days, and finally pointed to the point that Wang Xizhi added under the word "big" and sighed and said, "My son has worn out three cylinders of water, but only one point is like Xihe."
after listening to the offer, he was discouraged and said weakly, "It's difficult! If this continues, when can we have good results? " Seeing that his arrogance had disappeared, his mother encouraged him to say, "Son, as long as you work hard, there is no river you can't cross or mountain you can't climb. As long as you keep practicing like these years, you will certainly achieve your goal! "
After listening to the dedication, I was deeply moved and kept practicing. Hard work pays off, and the practice of calligraphy has exhausted 18 vats of water, making rapid progress in calligraphy. Later, Wang Xianzhi's words reached the level of penetrating the back of the paper and perfection. His words were juxtaposed with Wang Xizhi's and were called "two kings".
Wang Xizhi is an apprentice in Tiantai Mountain
Wang Xizhi came to Tiantai Mountain before the renovation of Lanting, and was attracted by the magical and beautiful scenery of Tiantai Mountain, so he resisted in China. He enjoyed the wonders of the sunrise and the clouds, waves and fog, which polished his calligraphy. He kept practicing calligraphy and washing the ink stone, but he dyed a clear and clear pool black. That's how Mo Chi got his name.
One night, Wang Xizhi was practicing calligraphy under the lamp, practicing and practicing. White paper was written one after another and spread all over the floor. Late at night, he looked at and thought word by word. Not satisfied with the words he had written, he read and practiced. He was too tired to practice, so he held the pen and fell on the table. Suddenly, a breeze passed by, and a white cloud floated by. On the cloud, an old man with a silver beard looked at him with a smile and said, "Your handwriting is good!" "
"where, where!" Wang Xizhi offered to sit down and answered modestly. Seeing the old man carefully watching his own handwriting, he asked, "Laozhang, please correct me a lot."
When the old man saw Wang Xizhi's sincerity, he said, "You held out your hand."
Wang Xizhi wondered what the old man was going to do. He saw that the old man was serious and didn't like joking, so he slowly reached over. The old man took the pen and said with a smile, "I see you are sincere in learning to write, so that you can understand a pen formula, which will play a role in the future." The old man finished, wrote a word on Wang Xizhi's palm, then nodded and said, "You will make progress faster." Say and go. Wang Xizhi quickly shouted, "Where is your husband's home?" Only heard a faint voice in the air: "White clouds on the roof ..."
Wang Xizhi saw that the palm of his hand was a word "forever". He compared, rowed, wrote and practiced, and finally realized that the strokes of square characters and the tricks of shelf structure were all embodied in this word "forever". Mr. Baiyun's teaching is really a good stroke! Since then, Wang Xizhi has practiced harder, and his calligraphy has become more free and easy, which is wonderful.
Later, when Wang Xizhi returned to Shaoxing and got together with literary friends in Lanting, he wrote a calligraphy treasure "Preface to Lanting Collection" which has been handed down through the ages. Wang Xizhi never forgot the word "Yong" written by Mr. Baiyun in Tiantai Mountain, and wrote a book "The Cave of the Yellow Suture" in good faith, which was placed in an abrupt and dangerous cave on the top of the mountain, and later generations called it "The Cave of the Yellow Suture". Today, some bold tourists have to climb the Huangjing Cave to see if Wang Xizhi's Huang Ting Jing is still hidden in the cave! Choosing a husband in the east bed
It was a long time ago. At that time, there was a great official named Chi Jian. He was a man who loved talents very much. In order to choose a suitable object for his daughter, Boss Xi had a lot of brains. Later, he learned that the Wangs' children were handsome and talented, so he wanted to narrow down the scope and choose one of these young people as his son-in-law. The news came that the children of the Wangs were excited and nervous. They had heard that Miss Xi had a good personality and talent. Who wouldn't want to marry her? So, one by one, they were carefully decorated and sat in the school, seemingly reading books, and their hearts had already flown.
However, there is one person who is different from others in the East Book Case. I saw that he was as casual as usual, as if there was no such thing at all, and he was still writing intently. On this day, the weather was not hot, but the young man was so hot that he unbuttoned his coat and showed his belly. Maybe he didn't have time to eat in the morning. While writing, he grabbed a bite of cold steamed bread and chewed it freely. His eyes were still staring at the calligraphy in front of him. The right hand holding the brush didn't loosen for a moment, and sometimes he hung up to write. That serious expression made people laugh.
Chi Jian sent his own representative to observe and understand in the school, and then he went back. In his view, the Wangs' children are all good, polite, young, handsome and talented, and it is almost impossible to say which is the best and which is the worst. However, to say that the performance is not so satisfactory, there is one. He bared his chest and abdomen, while writing, he was eating steamed bread, which looked too casual. It seemed that he didn't care at all about such an important matter as the boss's choice of son-in-law ...
This adult was interested in the young man who behaved "casually" in return. He inquired about the situation in detail, happily put his hands together and said, "This is the son-in-law I am looking for." What's going on here? Boss Xi believes that this young man does not take personal matters to heart, but concentrates on calligraphy, which is a promising performance. With such enthusiasm and fascination, he is not worried about becoming a talent.
guess who this young man is? It was none other than Wang Xizhi, and later he really became an outstanding calligrapher. This shows that the boss Xi has an eye. Incidentally, Wang Xizhi's wife and Chi Jian's daughter, who is also a calligrapher, are of great help to Wang Xizhi. Her son, Wang Xianzhi, later became a famous calligrapher, which also contributed to her.
Eating jiaozi
One day, Wang Xizhi passed by the market and saw a shop in jiaozi. There was a lot of noise and excitement. In particular, the two couplets by the door are particularly eye-catching, with the words "You can't get through this, you know the taste and come here often" written on the horizontal plaque "Duck jiaozi Shop". But the handwriting is dull and weak, lacking in kung fu.
after reading it, Wang Xizhi thought to himself: should such a word "Lai" be worthy of writing a plaque? Another thought: "if you can't get through this, you will know the taste and come often." -boy! Who on earth is buying and selling here, so boasting?
when you look closer, you see a cauldron with boiling water in the shop, which is located next to a low wall. Jiaozi wrapped in white flour,
like white birds, flew over the wall one by one, and just fell into the boiling cauldron. When the pot is full, the "bird" will be grounded without greeting. When this pot of jiaozi is cooked and fished out, the "birds" fly in line again, which is accurate.
Wang Xizhi was very surprised, so he conveniently took out some scattered silver coins, asked for a big bowl of jiaozi, and sat down. At this time, he discovered that jiaozi was exquisite and exquisite, like a duck swimming in the water. It was really wonderful.
