I have been to many cities in Jiangsu, and I personally think that Su, Wu and Chang in Jiangsu are more livable, each with its own characteristics, advantages and disadvantages.
Suzhou has been famous all over the world since ancient times. Today, its development is the best in Jiangsu, with many job opportunities.
The classical gardens and small towns in the south of the Yangtze River are also relatively well protected. There are mountains and waters in the city, which are very beautiful.
Many people will go here, whether for work or tourism.
The transportation is very convenient, and you can easily go anywhere.
But its housing prices are relatively high. Who makes Suzhou the closest to Shanghai, with the most foreign companies and the best development?
Secondly, the traffic in Suzhou is relatively congested. On the one hand, it is due to the large number of people, and on the other hand, it is related to the unreasonable planning of the roads.
I went looking for a job a few years ago and felt that Suzhou was full of rogue intermediaries and scammers. I don’t know if this is being rectified now.
Because it's so close, I've been there many times. There are even carts selling things in downtown Suzhou. It's too chaotic.
The large and small parking lots next to the tourist attractions are also very messy. There are all kinds of people who look like I don’t know what they are. They are trying to attract business even if they park their cars. They are very aggressive. You are pulling me so hard that I can’t stop.
!
There is definitely something wrong with city management!
Wuxi's economic development is also very good, and there are fewer foreign companies than Suzhou.
Jiangyin in Wuxi is definitely a bug, supporting about 1/3 of Wuxi's GDP.
The urban area of ??Wuxi also has mountains and rivers, occupying most of the resources of Taihu Lake.
I used to travel there when I was in school, and also when I was working. I feel that the transportation is relatively developed, and now there are two subway lines.
Housing prices in Wuxi are not low, but compared to Suzhou, they are a bit better.
Personally, I think Wuxi is a bit of a scumbag when it comes to Taihu Lake. It would be more appropriate to divide Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou and Huzhou evenly.
Changzhou has only one county-level city and its GDP is not high, so the GDP used is relatively small.
However, its development level is also relatively high, and private enterprises are relatively developed.
Urban development is also good, with many parks, and rural development is also good.
The public transportation is particularly developed and convenient, and Subway Line 1 will be opened to traffic by the end of this year.
However, because the industry is mainly dominated by private enterprises, the salary level and welfare benefits may be different from those in Suzhou and Wuxi, and the migrant population is not as large as in Suzhou and Wuxi.
In terms of housing prices, they are similar to those in Wuxi, which are actually quite high.
From the perspective of the thirteen prefecture-level cities in Jiangsu, I think Wuxi is the most livable city.
Livability is inseparable from the following factors: economic prosperity, convenient transportation, developed education, beautiful environment, and low prices (the most important thing is housing prices, and there is not much difference in other commodities).
Economically, Wuxi is undoubtedly the most developed region in Jiangsu, with per capita GDP ranking first in the province and second nationwide after Shenzhen.
In terms of transportation, Wuxi is located in the center of the Shanghai-Nanjing Line, backed by the golden waterway of the Yangtze River, and to the south by Taihu Lake, the third largest freshwater lake in China, with the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal running through it, witnessing the prosperity of this famous industrial and commercial city for hundreds of years.
Transportation in the city is also very convenient, with elevated highways, buses, and subways extending in all directions. It also has the Sunan Shuofang Airport, the second largest airport in Jiangsu.
Basically water, land, air and land all in one!
In terms of education, some people must say that Wuxi lacks higher education resources. In fact, Wuxi is also rated as one of the cities in China that lacks the most universities, which is true.
But Wuxi’s basic education is really extremely developed. Taking the 2018 College Entrance Examination as an example, Wuxi ranked first in the admission rate of the first class, the admission rate of the second class, the number of people in the high division, the first place in the college entrance examination, Tsinghua and Peking University’s independent enrollment, and Peking University Boya and Tsinghua’s leading admissions
The number of points overall leads the three giants in Jiangsu!
In addition, let’s take a look at the recently released ranking of academicians’ place of residence. Wuxi, with a population base of only 6.5 million, ranks sixth in the country in terms of the number of academicians produced by the Academy of Sciences!
Wuxi’s environment is even more impressive, with three 5A-level scenic spots and nearly 30 4A-level scenic spots.
In particular, Wuxi Taihu National Tourism Resort has become a very popular tourist destination in recent years, and Wuxi has always been one of the most popular destinations for surrounding tourism.
From the perspective of housing prices, Wuxi is still relatively high in absolute terms, but horizontally, it is not so scary.
The following table is the ranking of housing prices in East China in the first quarter of 2019 that I compiled. Wuxi ranked 16th in East China with only 14,413 yuan/square meter.
The housing prices in Wuxi are far lower than those in Hangzhou, Nanjing, Suzhou, and Ningbo, which are also located in the Yangtze River Delta, and even lower than Changzhou, about the same as Nantong, and slightly higher than Yangzhou, Taizhou, and Xuzhou.
It can only be said that Wuxi’s housing prices are the conscience of the industry!
Therefore, Wuxi is still a very livable city.
At this stage, it should be the most livable city in Jiangsu!
Among the 13 cities in Jiangsu, Zhenjiang and Suqian have few contacts, while others have more contacts.
In my previous job, I often traveled on business. Today I went from Suzhou to Wuxi, tomorrow I went to Nantong, and the day after tomorrow I went to Lianyungang. In short, I am relatively familiar with Jiangsu.
Especially Su Xichang, I dare not say that he is familiar with every corner, but he has indeed traveled to many places.
The following is just my ignorant opinion.
The most livable city, I think, is Wuxi.
The cherry blossoms are falling in Yuantouzhu, and I am drunk with clear wine in the company of my friends. What more can I ask for?
.
The advantages of the city are good environment, deep cultural heritage, relatively moderate housing prices, complete urban facilities, high-quality education, and many parks; disadvantages are average medical conditions and only one good university.
Yixing and Jiangyin are both very good.
With misty rain in the bamboo forest and the smell of tea, it’s beautiful to think about going to Yixing to taste tea, going to Jiangyin to make money, and going to the city library to study.
