Is Hugging You Through the Winter good?
I went to see a movie alone last night. In fact, there were few audiences in the whole cinema. The plot of the movie is very touching, at least it touched me. Of course, it doesn't rule out that my tears are low. I used two paper towels during the whole movie. After reading it, I have the impulse to write something, but I don't know how to write a film review. Let's write a review.
The film Hug You Through the Cold Winter is based on the COVID-19 epidemic in Wuhan, which tells the living conditions of different social groups in the process from the discovery of the epidemic to the closure of the city to fight the epidemic and the final unsealing. Bo Huang plays Yong Ge, the small boss of the courier company, Wu Ge, the courier played by Jia Ling, a middle-aged couple played by Gao Yalin and Xu Fan, Xiaoxiao, a nurse trainee played by Zhou Dongyu, Xie Lao, a retired obstetrician and Cantonese chef Pei Ye, and Ye Ziyang, a piano teacher played by Zhu Yilong, are the key targets of the film. The sense of reality and substitution is strong, and it is for this reason that it is particularly tearful.
Brother Yong, played by Bo Huang, is a chivalrous man. In others' eyes, he often does some righteous acts beyond his ability, so that he often doesn't care about his family after marriage, and he once felt guilty about it, but he still has no hesitation in the face of social needs. His wife complained about her husband's carelessness while silently supporting her husband's choice with actions. After the outbreak, Brother Yong responded quickly, issued leaflets spontaneously, ignored the disdain and ridicule of others, organized a volunteer team, established a volunteer service group, transported medical staff free of charge, and delivered epidemic prevention and anti-epidemic materials to the hospital. He hasn't been in the house once in several months, and he didn't even go home for dinner on New Year's Eve. When I learned from chatting with my son WeChat that his wife was so angry that she didn't eat the New Year's Eve dinner, the helpless and painful expression on his face touched people's hearts. Every time I go home, I quietly leave my living materials at my door and sneak away after knocking on the door. His wife knew that this was to protect their mother. She expected her husband to run around as a volunteer every day, and her shoes had already broken down, so she bought a pair of shoes that her husband was reluctant to buy, which made Brother Yong cry on the spot.
As the name implies, the Angkor Wat played by Jia Ling is a proper woman. She is a colleague of Brother Yong and a member of the volunteer team. She is kind and funny, but her marriage is not happy. She is divorced and has a daughter with her grandmother. When the rider gave medicine to Mr. Ye, who was teaching piano lessons by video, Mr. Ye fell ill and fainted. He rushed to four hospitals behind his back and saved Mr. Ye's life with brain cancer. Teacher Ye is quite talented, can write poems and lyrics, and is gentle, but he suffers from brain cancer. Like Brother Wu, he is a divorced person. After that, one to two, WeChat interacted, and gradually got a sense of CP. I think there is the biggest slot here. When Teacher Ye fainted, his life was in danger. According to common sense, he should call an ambulance at the first time. The picture shows that Brother Wu rushed out of Teacher Ye's community on a battery car. Later, the picture shows that she carried Teacher Ye to four hospitals and was finally saved. Personal feeling may be a mistake in editing. Teacher Ye's brain disease recurred later, and the rescue was ineffective. He donated his organs to five people in need and existed in the world in another way, showing great love. At this moment, in the picture, his students * * * sang the songs created by Teacher Ye, expressing their deep grief. Brother Wu seems to have seen Teacher Ye traveling with a backpack ...
Gao Yalin and Xu Fan are middle-aged couples, with rich family conditions and successful careers, who have opened supermarket chains and travel agencies. But there are so many contradictions between them that they don't even sleep in the same bed. Because of the epidemic, COVID-19, a good friend for many years, died suddenly, giving them a new understanding of life. Money is no longer the most important thing for them. They donated the materials in the supermarket, and their wife was pregnant and became an elderly pregnant woman. It is also human nature for them to donate materials to obstetrics and gynecology in the play. Not everyone is as selfless as Brother Yong. They hugged each other in the heavy rain and cried and confided in each other. It was still touching to tell the fragments of words buried deep in their hearts over the years.
Zhou Dongyu plays Xiaoxiao, a student nurse, and is also a food blogger. Optimistic and cheerful, the most annoying thing is probably how to eat and not get fat. Because I got to know Wu Ge once and got along well, Wu Ge enthusiastically took her to eat the bean skin that she was thinking about. She encouraged Wu Ge to pursue love actively and gave him a lipstick. Under the epidemic situation, medical staff have become a high-risk group, working with high load for a long time, which is also reflected in Xiaoxiao, a nurse. She worked for three days in a row and had bruises on her face from wearing a mask for a long time. One day, Brother Wu received an order. She went to an advertising print shop to pick up the piece, and found that it was actually the portrait of Xiaoxiao, a little nurse she had known not long ago. She was so young and loved life, and when she said no, she was gone, and suddenly she accidentally poked her tears.
Dr. Xie Lao lost his wife in his early years, raised his daughter and became a family by himself, and gave up the opportunity of re-employment to take care of her family. After living in seventy years of age, he lost his daughter in old age and lived with his son-in-law and grandson. She met an equally single Cantonese chef and restaurant owner, Pei Ye, and the two old people chatted happily and talked about "yellow love". Dr. Xie was infected with COVID-19 in his post. He was in a critical situation, but he survived with the video encouragement sent by Pei Ye, and finally recovered and enjoyed his old age with Pei Ye.
There is something special about this film. These characters are almost independent, but some nodes in the film intentionally connect them together. They have never met before, but they are related. On a rainy night, a middle-aged couple played by Gao Yalin and Xu Fan drove across the bridge and saw Wu Ge riding an electric car in the rain. On the way to work, Dr. Xie saw a middle-aged couple hugging and crying on the bridge, which was touched and he agreed to Pei Ye's proposal.
At the end of the movie, Wuhan was unsealed, traffic resumed, the sun rose and life returned to daily life. Brother Yong finally went home. He touched his sleeping son and hugged his sleeping wife. Brother Wu came to the parrot bridge to meet Teacher Ye, and she seemed to see Teacher Ye in her sight. Pei Ye rode with Xie Lao, laughing all the way; A video of a middle-aged couple and their daughter in New Zealand tells them that their daughter is all right and is about to give birth. The film "Capitalize small, see big with small" depicts the group images of different families under the epidemic situation, showing people's profound understanding of life and death, friendship, love and the value of life. People's fates vary widely, but their diligent pursuit of a better life is consistent with their unyielding struggle to overcome disasters. There is love in the world and love in China!
