The largest Zhongfu Duty Free Shop in the center of Shanghai is located in Da Yue 889 Square in Caojiadu Business Circle, Jing 'an District, Shanghai, with a total area of about 3,300 square meters, which is divided into upper and lower floors, bringing together more than 65.438 million international brands. There is also a duty-free shop in Shanghai Pudong Airport, but it is only open to photogenic passengers, so you can only shop in duty-free shops when you take international flights.

Shanghai Duty Free Shop provides more choices for consumers to buy overseas goods and guides China consumers to spend overseas. Duty-free shops are specially approved stores. Because the price of the goods sold does not include the taxes that other stores need to pay, it will be relatively cheaper.

Development status of duty-free shops

With the approval of the State Council, it is decided to add and restore duty-free shops at ports from February 20 16 18, reasonably expand duty-free varieties and increase certain duty-free shopping quotas.

Specifically, there will be 65,438 airports in Guangzhou Baiyun, Hangzhou Xiaoshan, Chengdu Shuangliu, Qingdao Liuting, Nanjing Lukou, Shenzhen Baoan, Kunming Changshui, Chongqing Jiangbei, Tianjin Binhai, Dalian Zhoushuizi, Shenyang Taoxian, Xi Xianyang and Urumqi Diwobao, as well as land and water ports in Shenzhen Futian, Huanggang, Shatoujiao and Wenjindu, Zhuhai Zhakou Port and Heihe Port.

On May 2019 17, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the General Administration of Customs and State Taxation Administration of The People's Republic of China issued the Interim Measures for the Administration of Duty-free Ports to standardize the management of duty-free ports.
