Gaodouhua has a history of 100 years, which was initiated by Gao Heqing and painstakingly managed by three generations of ancestors. The owner of the second generation is Gao Bailiang, and the owner of the third generation is Gao Xianzuo.
Gaodouhua is located in the quadrangle of an alley in Chongqing's Tianhua Street. First, it specializes in making cold wine tofu pudding. During War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, houses on the street were bombed. Because of widening the road, Gaodouhua rebuilt a street building, expanded its business, opened a "red pot", and increased the varieties of steamed vegetables, stir-fried vegetables, stewed vegetables and so on. At that time, business was booming and the mountain city was famous.
This private tofu shop became state-owned after 1949, and everyone could not understand it. In order to solve the problem, we should start with the last shopkeeper, Gao Xianzuo. Gao Xianzuo, the eldest son of Gao Bailiang, is called Gao Junzi. When I was young, I studied in Tianfu Middle School in Chengdu, and my thoughts improved. He joined the party and returned to Chongqing to inherit his ancestral business after graduation. Although it is called the shopkeeper, Gao Douhua is actually his mother's business. Because of the need of work, he joined the "Paoge", apparently in cahoots, but secretly engaged in revolutionary work. After the liberation of Chongqing, he took the initiative to hand over the industry to the state. It is not surprising that this is the embodiment of party member's noble quality.
