Location: Both are located in Yalong Bay National Tourism Resort
Lobby: Yalong Bay Holiday Inn is a traditional resort hotel. The lobby is bright, simple and has a wide view. You can directly enter the lobby when you walk into the hotel door. It overlooks the sea, and the entire lobby has an arc-shaped structure; while the Crowne Plaza Hotel lobby has a typical Chinese architectural style, which is closer to a palace. The construction of the grindstone floor and red wooden pillars and beams makes it appear majestic and steady, with a typical royal style.
Room decoration: Because the Yalong Bay Holiday Hotel’s room decoration and facilities took a long time to build, the color and decoration emphasize single practicality. The color is white, which is a typical business hotel decoration. And the Crowne Plaza Hotel decoration The style is a modern luxury hotel, with many color combinations in the rooms, emphasizing comfort and luxury, and the floors are all paved.
Swimming pool: Yalong Bay Holiday has only one outdoor swimming pool, and it is relatively large. It looks empty and quiet surrounded by palm trees. Crowne Plaza Hotel has two outdoor swimming pools, but the area is half that of Yalong Bay, but both The two swimming pools are connected by a beach, surrounded by palm trees and decorated with sailboat huts, making it lively and energetic.
Beach: Both hotels have their own beaches and are connected to the sea, but the feeling and facilities of the beach are better than those of Crowne Plaza.
pK: Both hotels have There are rooms with sea views and balconies. From a personal recommendation point of view, Crowne Plaza is better because the hotel was built later than the former, so the cost-effectiveness in all aspects is more outstanding!
When you go to Sanya, you can wear summer clothes and beach shoes. You must bring a swimming suit and sunglasses, especially sunscreen with a high SPF and good waterproofness. An umbrella is also essential. Protects against rain and sun.
1. Keep your ID card and air ticket back to the city.
2. Cash, credit card.
3. For cameras, consider the issue of photo storage. Bring one or several larger memory cards or a digital camera companion. Charger
4. Mobile phone and charger: There are very few telephones in Sanya Public Security Bureau. The phone in the room can only be used for internal calls. For long-distance calls, a deposit must be paid at the front desk. It is very convenient to have a mobile phone (before departure) Don’t forget to pay the fee before entering)
5. Bring an MP3 player or a Walkman to relax during your break.
Sunscreen supplies:
1. Sunscreen: especially sunscreen with a high SPF and good water resistance
2. After-sun repair cream: Swimming The skin will be very sore after sun exposure, so after-sun repair cream comes in handy.
3. Conditioner: Hair is damaged after being exposed to the sun. Conditioner can repair the hair at this time.
4. Sunglasses: The sun is not as dazzling as usual. It is recommended to buy a better one that can be used in the future.
5. Sun umbrella: It can protect you from rain and shade from the sun.
6. Wear a hat, it’s very cool.
Swimming supplies:
1. Swimsuit: Many foreigners wear bikinis in Sanya, you can also try it yourself. White, yellow, and rose red are best at the beach, but blue is not good enough at the beach. If you love swimming, bring an extra swimsuit (if the swimsuit gets wet, it will be difficult to dry if left to dry). If you don’t like swimming very much, you don’t need to bring so many. I brought two, but I think one is enough. Let's make up our own minds
2. Waterproof watch: You can know the time by yourself when riding a motorboat without being deceived by the staff.
3. Those with long hair must wear something to tie their hair. Otherwise, my hair will be too fluttering to swim.
4. Bath towels: There are them in the hotel (but if you don’t like using them in the hotel, you need to bring them yourself).
Reminder: Swimming equipment must be prepared before traveling, otherwise you will not be able to buy swimming goggles, nose clips, earplugs and other swimming equipment even in the largest department store or supermarket in Sanya.
Drugs:
Eye drops; anti-allergic drugs; anti-diarrheal drugs; anti-heat stroke pills; motion sickness drugs; cold medicine; painkillers; Bondi; sterilized cotton balls; nasal soothing; Anti-mosquito bites and other medicines to prevent mosquito bites.
Daily necessities:
1. Clothing: Bring a few extra sets of clothes and underwear. Wear sweat-absorbent, breathable, quick-drying clothes, as the local area is not easy to dry.
The average temperature in Sanya is about 25 degrees throughout the year, so if you go there, just bring summer clothes. Just in case, a single jacket or a long-sleeved shirt is enough.
2. Slippers: A good pair of slippers can be used to travel all over Sanya. Don’t just look good, you must buy slippers that are very comfortable for walking. You can bring them from home or buy them in downtown Sanya. They are sold in many places. The price is about 10 yuan/pair and there are many styles. And some hotels provide slippers.
3. Wet wipes: It is inconvenient to wash your hands outside, but you have to hold fruits and seafood with your hands. It is much more convenient to bring wet wipes.
4. Toothbrush and toothpaste: The ones provided by the hotel are too poor. It is recommended to bring your own. And paper and pen.
5. Spring scale: Many hawker scales are inaccurate. However, spring scales are not easy to buy. We just went to buy them the day before we left. We asked many places but they didn't sell them.
6. Bring some snacks: It is still necessary for girls who often eat snacks. It is difficult to buy the snacks we often eat in small shops in Sanya.
7. Camera stand: It is difficult to find someone to help take photos. It can also be used to take photos of night scenes and landscapes, but it depends on personal needs. If there are too many things, don’t bring it.
8. If you are going with a few people, bring playing cards.
9. Don’t carry a bag that is too small. Many things need to be put in it.
10. Fruit knife: You are not allowed to bring a fruit knife on the plane. You can buy a cheaper one in Sanya and give it to the hotel staff after you use it.
3. Transportation :
1. Sanya Phoenix Airport is 20 kilometers away from the city. There are buses from the airport directly to the city (fare 15 yuan), and the taxi price should be controlled at about 50 yuan.
2. Taxi prices in Sanya are all negotiable, so don’t use a meter. Basically, the starting price in Sanya is 5 yuan, 15 yuan from Dadonghai to the urban area, 15 yuan from the urban area to Dadonghai, 50 yuan from Yalong Bay to Dadonghai, and no more than 50 yuan from Dadonghai to Tianya Haijiao. The trip from the airport to Yalong Bay is 100 yuan. Taxi drivers mostly charge exorbitant prices, so you have to be bold in cutting the price. Don't ask hotel doormen to call for taxis. Most of them have business dealings with rip-off drivers, and the money they earn is split equally.
3. Buses should be fully utilized. There is only one main street in the urban area (Jiefang Road), running north to south. You can use this road as the coordinate axis to go to major scenic spots, shopping, and food destinations. Bus No. 2 is very convenient, with many buses (all seats available), friendly conductors and drivers, and cheap (unmanned ticket sales are 1 yuan/person). How to truly experience a city is to take a bus.
4. From Yalong Bay to Tianya Haijiao via Dadonghai, there are also double-decker tourist buses that run every half an hour. It costs 8 yuan from Dadonghai to Tianya Haijiao and Yalong Bay, and 8 yuan from Tianya Haijiao to Yalong Bay. It is very suitable for travelers to enjoy the scenery along the way. The fare of the minibus is also less than 5 yuan, but the order is a little more chaotic. In urban areas, it is best not to ride on rickshaws or motorcycles.
5. If conditions permit, you can consider chartering the entire journey to avoid affecting your mood. Only in this way can you truly travel freely. The biggest advantage of chartering a car is that you can adjust your itinerary at any time, and you can buy things as you like without being burdened by luggage.
Travel
First, let’s summarize the attractions worth visiting in Sanya. , I think the main attractions worth visiting in Hainan are all in Sanya, and the scenery in Sanya is much better than that in Haikou, so I suggest that you focus on visiting Sanya. Sanya is a good place for a vacation. It is the kind of place where you can lie down quietly, watch the sea, and swim. I think this is the real vacation. Of course, friends who are going to Sanya for the first time still have to visit some attractions. There are so many well-known attractions in Sanya. 5 days is not a long time or a short time. We can’t go there one by one, so we picked a few of the most popular attractions.
Recommended attractions: Nanshan Temple - quite good, worth going. Tickets are 150 yuan, including 20 yuan for electric cars and 48 yuan for vegetarian meals. It is very big inside, it is said to be 7 kilometers, so it is recommended to take a battery car. Mainly because in such hot climate conditions, walking is very tiring. The Nanshan Temple inside is said to be very spiritual, and the huge Guanyin statue on the sea is very spectacular. There is also an 18 Arhat statue in a very hidden place, just past the station between Suzhai and Nanshan Temple. Most tour groups and electric cars seem to pass by that scenic spot, but I think it is still good.
Recommendation 2: Yalong Bay - I have been there three times. The beach there is still so thin and the sea is still blue. I think the beach in Yalong Bay is the best in Sanya. You must bring your swimsuit to experience it. Take a look at the beautiful scenery of blue sea and blue sky. And there are no tickets required. You don’t need to get off at Yalong Bay Plaza. Take the tour bus and get off at the terminal (which is Yalong Bay Underwater World). There is no ticket required to enter.
Recommendation 3: Tianya Haijiao - In fact, Tianya Haijiao is nothing, just two big rocks on the seaside. I recommend it because of its reputation. You can’t miss it when you arrive in Sanya. The ticket price is 65, probably because the rebate to the travel agency is small. There are much fewer people inside than the previous few times I went. This is better and more comfortable.
Recommendation 4: Wuzhizhou Island - it felt okay the first time I went there, but it felt average this time. The sea water is relatively clear, and it is a relatively turbulent seaside. There are large rocks on the seaside, and there are also stones and shells in the swimming area that are a bit awkward. It's not a quiet sea with fine sand like Yalong Bay. The ticket costs 120 and you have to take a boat there, which takes about 15 minutes.
Recommendation 5: Nantian Hot Spring - the fish therapy pool inside is quite interesting. When we soaked in it, there were many small fish biting our bodies. It was very itchy but very comfortable. By the way, there were Russians and people inside. There are more Japanese people.
Recommendation 6: Queens Bay - Outdoor Activities! Personally, I think it is the most worthwhile one-day trip to Sanya. Early in the morning, the tour leader took us to Queen's Bay for snorkeling and swimming. The water here is much cleaner than that of Centipede Island, and there are fewer people. It can be enjoyed while snorkeling. I saw a lot of beautiful corals and abalone, wow! Therefore, it is highly recommended for those who like swimming to swim here. We had BBQ at the fisherman's house for lunch. There was a lot of seafood and it tasted good. In the afternoon, the team leader took us fishing. Unfortunately, the boat was too rocky and it was easy to get seasick. I couldn't stand it, so I chose to go fishing on the platform. However, the fish in the pond are too cunning compared to the fish in the sea, and in the end everyone returned without success.
In fact, I don’t think it matters whether you go to the following attractions or not. They are all similar.
Dadonghai - you can swim, but it is not as good as Yalong Bay. No tickets are required.
Big and small caves - the scenery is good, there is a hill, but it has no characteristics, so it doesn’t matter whether you go or not
Luhuitou - it is just a statue on the mountain, and you can see Sanya City . Not interesting
Xidao - the first time I went to the newly developed West Island, it was very good. The second time I went in 2007, it was terrible, so I didn’t go this time. There were jellyfish in the water and they would sting. Swimming is very dangerous, so I suggest you don’t go there, it’s not fun.
Yanoda Tropical Rainforest - This place is said to be good, but I didn't go there, so I have no say. I suggest you go and have a look. There is a free shuttle bus, and you need to book a seat in advance. There is one in the Pearl Plaza Advertising signs, you can go there and find the phone number for consultation.
