The admission score for ordinary high schools this year is 530.

Wu Yipeng, a candidate from Yanliu Middle School in Shouxian County, ranked first in the county's high school entrance examination with 818.5 points. Zhang Mengze, a candidate from Shouxian No. 3 Middle School, and Long Yiyang, a candidate from Shouchun Middle School, ranked second and third respectively.

Shouxian No. 3 Middle School, following the development of modern education in Shouxian County, was established in 1908 on the former site of Shouchun Town General Military Office (located on East Street of the county seat) and is a key cultural relic protection unit in the county.

The school has been in operation for more than a hundred years and has changed its name several times. In 1973, it was named Shouxian No. 3 Middle School.

In September 2015, the school moved as a whole to its new site, Chengnan New District, Shouxian County (southwest of the intersection of Tongfei Road and Shimiao).

There are currently 91 teaching classes, 4,895 students and 281 faculty and staff. The current principal is Zhang Donghua.
